Nanping People's Hospital, is a set of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and rehabilitation in one, the combination of traditional and modern, complete departments, advanced equipment, modern large-scale comprehensive hospital of traditional Chinese medicine. Founded in 1958, the hospital has 400 beds and 479 employees, and is a clinical teaching base for higher medical schools in Fujian Province and a research base for the clinical pharmacology of new drugs, as well as a "designated hospital" for the rescue of injured people in road traffic accidents and for medical insurance and medical checkups for college entrance exams in Fujian Province.
