Synopsis

Life is like a drama, with ups and downs. " - that's perhaps the perfect phrase to describe what happened to General Erwin (Robert Redford). The three-star general, who fought in the Gulf War and was distinguished for his brilliant military strategy, is stripped of his rank by a court-martial on a trumped-up charge and thrown into an extremely heavily guarded military prison.

The prison's warden, Colonel Winter (James Gandolfini), is known for his harsh, iron-fisted policies, and Elvin's initial respect for the legendary colonel turns to hostility and animosity after Elvin expresses his dissatisfaction with the warden's methods. A public confrontation between Erwin and the corrupt warden begins, and the growing intensity of the confrontation culminates in a massive breakout: Erwin commands a "new army" of more than 1,200 inmates he has recruited to overthrow the warden's rule. The war.

A group of inmates who had been sentenced to be "no longer soldiers" were in prison to prove that they could still fight like brave soldiers. Therefore, this escape not only concerns their freedom, but also the honor they once regarded as their lives. ......

Synopsis:

A coup d'état has taken place in the Soviet Union and rebels have taken control of a nuclear bomb site. The United States is immediately put on full alert. Naval officer Hunter and his best friend Wass, who are celebrating their daughter's birthday, are ordered to rush to the command post. They are ordered to lead a nuclear submarine out with another officer, Lindsey, to prepare for defense against a Soviet nuclear strike.

Lindsey is an avid militant. Soon after sailing he was about to conduct missile maneuvers. Hunter, on the other hand, prevented him from doing so. For this, Lindsey was very upset. A conflict broke out between the two men. After more than ten days of submerging, the morale of the soldiers generally declined and fights broke out. During the voyage, they encounter a hostile submarine. And when Hunt and the others are receiving emergency orders, the communications equipment is sabotaged and the orders are cut off before they can be accepted. Hunter advocates caution, but Lindsey insists on firing the missiles. With the crowd's support, Hunter exempted Lindsey from his duties and aborted the missile launch.

At the instigation of his men, Lindsey prepares for a riot. At this time, the other submarine also continued to launch attacks. Hunter orders a counterattack while demanding that communications be repaired as soon as possible to check orders. But Lindsey breaks into the command room, gets the launch key, and ignores Hunter's warning to prepare to launch the missile. Wass, who controls the codes, refuses to cooperate with Lindsey, but finally gives them up under duress. In the nick of time, as Lindsey is about to press the launch button, Hunter, with the help of his men, arrives to pull the launch key and abort the launch. Hunter orders the submarine to surface to restore communications, and Lindsey has arrived with his men to confront Hunter and the others. Just as critical, communications are restored and the submarine receives the order to abort the launch. Frustrated, Lindsey abandoned his attempt to launch the missile and surrendered command of the submarine.

■ Plot Summary

1993 On October 3, the streets of Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.

A special operations team of 120 elite specialists from the U.S. Army's Delta Force and Ranger units is ordered to go deep into Mogadishu to fulfill a dual mission: to provide humanitarian aid to the local population, and to capture two high-ranking generals of the Somali military government.

Accidents happen, and due to a lack of preparation and faulty intelligence, the U.S. troops are surrounded. To make matters worse, two Blackhawk helicopters carrying U.S. troops were shot down by Somali forces, killing the entire crew of one Blackhawk and plunging the pilot of the other into Somali military control. Isolated on the streets of Mogadishu, U.S. troops anxiously await rescue forces while trying to figure out how to free their teammates on the Blackhawks.

Darkness is falling. In the hostile city, this small group of U.S. troops seems like a lonely boat in the storm, and may meet their doom at any time. They were engaged in a fierce battle with the Somali army, resulting in 18 U.S. troops killed in action, 73 wounded, and hundreds of Somali troops killed in action. A raid that was planned to be completed in an hour turned into a long 15-hour ordeal.

Experienced Delta Force veterans and young Ranger troopers fight side by side, bridging the gap between them, realizing the brotherhood of life and death between comrades, and feeling the cruelty of war.

Synopsis

World War II. A German prisoner of war camp. POWs here are administered separately according to nationality. The supreme officer of the American POWs is Colonel McLamara (Bruce Willis), a professional soldier, an enigmatic and respected figure. Lieutenant Tom Hart (Colin Farrell), formerly a student at Yale Law School, enlisted in the war in Europe, only to be captured on the battlefield and assigned to McClamara's staff after interrogation.

Even in the POW camps there was a hierarchy, with officers and enlisted men being housed in separate barracks. Tom was supposed to be assigned to the officers' camp, but the two men, he and the colonel, were not happy when they met. The colonel suspects that there is more to Tom's capture than meets the eye.

The truth is that Tom did give out some information during his interrogation. He hid this fact from the colonel, and knowing this, the colonel assigned him to the enlisted men's battalion as punishment. Also assigned to the enlisted battalion are two black pilots, Lincoln Scott (Terrence Howard) and Lamar Archer (Wessler Shannon). Segregation is still practiced in the U.S. Army at the time, the two black officers are discriminated against and humiliated by whites, and Archer is killed by the Germans as a result of a frame-up by a white soldier. Soon after, a white racist officer who bullied blacks the most was killed, and an eyewitness identified Scott as a suspect, with all the evidence stacked extremely heavily against him.

German Nazi leader Feisel (Marcel Uris) agrees to Colonel McLamara's request to open a military tribunal to try Scott, with the Colonel as judge, in accordance with the Geneva Treaty...

Synopsis

The U.S. Army's 1st Battalion, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, is the only one of its kind. 450 soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division of the U.S. Army, under blind command, landed unknowingly and unprepared in the center of a concentration of North Vietnamese troops

. With more than 2,000 troops already deployed around the landing site, the 1st Battalion fighters had to face an enemy nearly five times their size

. Although they were backed by powerful long-range and aerial fire, they were outnumbered, and the battalion had to fight an exceptionally hard battle for survival

.

Fortunately, the North Vietnamese, with their limited intelligence and cautious command, did not seize the opportunity to take advantage of the situation to wipe out the entire camp in one fell swoop. After two days of fighting with more than 100 casualties, the 1st Battalion was finally able to leave the battlefield and return to base with the 2nd Battalion, which had come to break the siege. On the way, however, the inexperienced commander of the 2nd Battalion ordered the column, which had been dragged 500 yards through the jungle, to stop just to interrogate two prisoners of war.

This was the first time that the 2nd Battalion was able to get out of the jungle. Caught in the crossfire on the North Vietnamese side, the battalion was nearly swept away in

heavy fighting.

Harold Moore, then commander of the 1st Battalion, and reporter Josephine Gelway experienced and documented the battle firsthand. It was also the first major casualty for American troops in Vietnam

and had a major impact on the U.S. military's later change of attitude toward the Vietnam War. But rather than focusing on the context of the Vietnam War, the film looks through the eyes of the soldiers and officers to see the courage and spirit of the American soldier as he went through the war. This is the style of heroism that director and screenwriter Randal

Wallace and protagonist Mel Gibson specialize in. The fearlessness of facing death head-on and the honorable camaraderie of the military will be the theme of this

Vietnam War movie based on true events.

Drama Synopsis

Captain Deakin is a brilliant pilot in the U.S. Air Force who has won numerous awards for valor and bravery, but has never been promoted. His best friend, Lieutenant Hill, is his second-in-command, but in the ring, Hill loses every bet to Deakin. On a mission, Deakin plans to hijack two nuclear missiles from a stealth fighter jet. He knocks Hill out of the cabin, drops the bombs, and the plane crashes in a nature park. Hill's parachute saves his life, but he is apprehended by Park Ranger Terry, who, after some fighting and convincing, finally convinces her to trust him. Deakin, who has been working with a mole and a receiver, manages to locate the two nuclear bombs. Hill and Terry destroy the helicopter and hijack the truck carrying the bombs, hiding them in a copper mine. But in the panic, the bombs are activated. Deakin's gang arrives and seizes the other bomb, but then locks Hill and the others in a mine shaft and tries to get them killed by the bomb. Hill and Terry escape from the mine through an underground river. The underground explosion is so destructive that the White House and the Department of Defense are shocked and have to agree to Deakin's threat for a large sum of money. Hill and Terri split up to track down Deakin. Terri follows Deakin's train, but is captured. In the nick of time, Hill finds the government and flies a helicopter to rescue him. But the government's forces fail to stop Deakin, and Hill is left to fight alone. He and Terry sabotage Deakin's helicopter, and with no way out, Deakin is desperate for a way out. He activates the nuclear detonation code and tries to kill himself. When Hill arrives, the two men make another bet that if Hill wins, he can shut down the activation device. After a battle of wits and bravery, Hill wins, and as the two trains are about to collide, he shuts off the initiator and escapes, while Deakin gets what he deserves. In the midst of all the chaos, the bomb was unharmed, and Hill and Terry hugged each other tightly after the disaster.

Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson have teamed up to create this thriller-drama, "K-19 Widowmaker," which tells the story of what is widely recognized as one of the most dangerous moments in the world. Unlike today, the only way to ensure peace at that moment was to have the ability to destroy each other, so the world is getting more and more nervous by the day. The movie depicts the chilling story of the Cold War in 1961, when the former Soviet Union possessed nuclear weapons capable of destroying the Earth two times over, and the United States possessed enough nuclear power to destroy the planet ten times over. Schoolchildren were taught to practice "duck and cover" under their desks while parents built bomb shelters in their yards, and each country continued to build up its nuclear stockpile in anticipation of a first nuclear strike by one side at any time.

"K-19 Widowmaker" isn't a war movie, but it is a story about the courage to stop war, showing the physical, intellectual and emotional strength of soldiers. It also shows us a world where technology is fundamental and where giving one's life for the security of the nation is everyone's duty. It illuminates a soldier's duty to his country and its people, and reveals the accountability of a leader under his command. And, of course, it shows how easy it is for tragedy to strike in wartime or in peacetime, whether from unforeseen events, equipment malfunctions, or human error.

The film is based on the true story of Capt. Alexei Vostrikov (Harrison Ford), who at the height of the Cold War was ordered to replace Captain Mikhail Polenin (Liam Neeson) as commander of the nuclear-powered missile submarine K-19. Commander. Vostriakio's mission is to do whatever it takes to put the poorly maintained submarine on operational alert for its maiden voyage as soon as possible.

But Vostreklio, Poleni and the ship's loyal officers and men could never have imagined the mission they were about to undertake. Nor could they have anticipated what the cost of failure would mean for them and for the world. At that moment, a nuclear reactor had failed, and a dangerous fuel rod was about to melt and explode in a nuclear explosion that would surely bury everyone on board. They were cruising at the bottom of the Arctic Ocean at the time, and it was the bravery of the entire crew and the captain's sense of duty to his country and to his crew that ultimately saved K-19 from an impending nuclear disaster.

Synopsis

1984 In November of 1984, the Soviet Union was on the eve of Mikhail Gorbachev's rise to power and at the height of the Cold War, when the two superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union, were locked in a bitter struggle.

The Soviet Union developed a new nuclear submarine, the "Red October", and sent the veteran Remis to take charge of the boat's first test flight exercise. At this time, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) also obtained information about the Red October.

On the way, Captain Ramis kills the tyrannical commissar who discovers his privacy and orders the submarine to change course. He told the crew that he was using the boat's advanced silent propulsion system to get past the U.S. Navy's surveillance network and tour the U.S. coastline. The U.S. submarine Dallas was unable to track Red October, which alarmed the U.S., who thought it was a sneak attack. In a secret meeting, Dr. Lai, a CIA intelligence officer, boldly believed that Ramirez's change of course was a defection to the United States. The CIA gave Lai three days to try to make contact with Ramis or destroy the Red October.

On board the Red October, Remis holds a meeting with his sergeants to make it clear that he intends to defect. At that time, the Soviets thought that the Red October had surrendered to the United States and sent a large number of ships to search for the Red October, and the American ships also detected the ship at times. The Soviets fired torpedoes at the Red October, which had been sabotaged by a spy who had been lurking inside the ship.

Le risked his life to get to the American submarine Dallas, where he was informed that the purpose of the trip was to launch missiles at the United States, and insisted that it was a Soviet plot to use the U.S. military to destroy Red October. After making brief contact by signal light, the Red October suddenly fled south. Soon after, the Red October, which had surfaced due to a malfunction in its ventilating system, was overtaken by American destroyers. The U.S. fired and self-detonated torpedoes and falsely claimed to have sunk Red October in an attempt to deceive the Soviets. Later, the U.S. submarine sent a small boat with Lai and others into the Red October to negotiate with Remis, who asked for U.S. asylum.

The Soviets fire another torpedo at the Red October, and Remis orders the submarine to head for the torpedo, making it difficult to detonate due to the close proximity of the torpedo. The spy is again sabotaging the submarine, and before another torpedo arrives, Lai finally spots and kills the lurking spy. The veteran Remis lured the Soviet torpedo into a detour and sank his own submarine. In the end, the Red October sailed into American harbor ......
