What should I pay attention to when camping?

First, the choice of camp

The camp should be located in a dry, flat, open-eyed, accessible place, sheltered from the wind and convenient for water intake. You have to dig your own toilet, prepare your own camping equipment, cooking utensils and food, which will last for almost three days and two nights, otherwise the food will not be fresh for a long time, but it will be bad.

Camp Option: Don't choose Fang Yiping Cliff. Don't be under the dam, but pay attention to flood warning.

There are six kinds of dangerous terrain, remember not to choose as a camp:

1, not in the middle of the canyon, avoiding flash floods.

2, not close to the water, avoid rising water.

3, not under the cliff, to avoid falling rocks.

4, not in the high convex place, avoid strong winds.

5, not under the independent tree, to avoid electric shock.

6. Don't hide from snakes and insects in the grass.

Second, the tent matters needing attention

1, the tent entrance should be leeward, and the tent should be far away from the hillside with rolling stones.

2. In order to prevent the tent from being flooded when it rains, a drainage ditch should be dug just below the top edge of the tent.

The four corners of the tent should be held down with big stones.

4, tents should keep the air circulation, cooking in the tent to prevent fire.

Before going to bed at night, check whether all the flames have been extinguished and whether the tent is firmly fixed.

6. Tents should be built in turn: first, build public tents. Set up a cooking tent in the downwind of the camp, set up a stove to boil a pot of water, and then set up a warehouse tent and a camping tent to store public equipment in the upwind direction. The tent of the whole camp has been set up, and the boiling water has been boiled, so you can drink it immediately and start cooking.

7. Build a field toilet: choose a place with a little lower wind direction in the camp, away from the river (at least 20 meters away). It is best to dig a rectangular pit, about 30 cm wide, about 50 cm long and about half a meter deep, and put some stones and fir leaves in it (to eliminate odor). Enclose and fix the three sides with plastic sheets or packing boxes, and the open side should be leeward. Prepare some sand, a shovel and a piece of cardboard. After defecation, bury the excrement and toilet paper with some sand, and cover the pit with wooden boards to eliminate the odor. Set up a more obvious sign outside the toilet so that others can see if anyone is using it from a distance. At the end of camping, bury the pit with sand, mark it, and tell other people who take part in field activities.

8. Take away your garbage: It is a discipline that campers must abide by not leaving any garbage in the camp. Paper waste can be burned and buried on the spot. Plastic bottles, cans, etc. You should put it in a garbage bag and take it away, and then throw it away when you pass the garbage station on your way back. Never throw it around. Remind everyone that although there are more and more camping areas where cars are allowed to enter in many places, environmental protection cannot be ignored if the whole people want to experience the fun of camping. At the end of the trip, I hope everyone can take away the garbage and try not to use disposable tableware and chopsticks to avoid polluting the environment.

Third, the handling methods of accident types

Because camping in the wild is not as safe as home, accidents may happen at any time. Here are some ways to deal with it:

1, wind and rain electric shock

People who have lived in the city for a long time often panic when they meet lightning and hear thunder. Actually, there is no need to be nervous. As long as they don't camp on the top of the highest mountain or in bare places, the danger is much reduced. Avoid standing under tall trees when lightning strikes, and it is best to throw away the metal objects in your hands. If you can't escape, then lying down on the spot can also minimize the danger.

2. Mountain torrents

When camping, we should pay attention to the direction of the flood. The beach alluvial land is a good place for camping, but it is also the place that bears the brunt of the flood. After the rain, we should take action to change the camp, otherwise it may be washed away by the flood.

3, rising water and fire candles

If someone is unfortunate enough to drown, the first thing to do is to take out the foreign body in his mouth, and carry out "heart massage" and "artificial respiration", and find someone who knows how to care as soon as possible, and try not to oppress the injured person's abdomen. What is squeezed out from the abdomen is likely to block his throat. When saving drowning, bamboo poles, floating objects (wood, boards, lifebuoys) or clothes can be used. In addition, in terms of fire prevention, in addition to fire fighting, it is forbidden to light candles in tents, and cigarette butts should not be thrown on dry wood. It is best to use flashlights or camping lights for lighting in tents.

4. Insect bites

The most important thing to prevent bee colony attacks is to stay away from the hive. If you are accidentally stung by poison bee, you should wash it with alkaline soap as soon as possible, and then apply water or ice cold to the affected area. The way to prevent leeches (also known as blood-sucking animals) from biting people is to smear alkaline substances such as alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, soap and salt on the skin and clothes when entering the mountainous area to prevent leeches from invading. If you still haven't been bitten, don't scratch it with your hands, because this scratch is likely to break its head and leave it in the skin, leading to infectious diseases. It is best to pat the skin with your hands, or coat it with salt, sugar and lime, or smoke it with cigarettes and matches, and it will naturally fall off. After the leech falls off, it is best to squeeze the wound immediately and let it flow out of the blood, which is equal to the blood sucked by the leech.

5. Snakebite

People who are bitten by poisonous snakes don't know where to bite beforehand. If they bite near the artery, their lives will be in danger, so they should be sent to the hospital as soon as possible. But once bitten by a poisonous snake, you should grasp the time quickly, press the muscles near the wound hard, squeeze out the poisonous blood from the wound, and then open it at the upper end of the wound. Especially at night, it is very convenient to pay the bill, because it is very convenient to take a flashlight outside the account door, then pour down the shoes and put them on; As for lime, you don't need to bring it, and if the snake really comes, lime can't stop it.

Fourth, the application of commodities.

Camping in the wild is very dangerous, and it will be of great benefit to master a few little knowledge.

1, wear close-fitting autumn pants. In order to avoid mosquito bites and hanging branches, if the clothes are wide, you can tie the trouser legs and cuffs.

2. Wear non-slip shoes. When you feel pain in the soles of your feet, quickly put a small piece of medical tape on the painful part to prevent foaming.

3. Prepare warm clothes. The outdoor temperature will be much lower than that indoors.

4, prepare enough clean water, dry food and commonly used drugs, such as mosquito repellent, diarrhea medicine, trauma medicine, etc.

5. Please show me the way. Usually, the forest park has a large area, and there are often no obvious markers in the forest. So when you enter the forest, you must go hand in hand and ask the guide to lead the way. Don't go too deep into the jungle. When crossing the forest, pay attention to some natural landmarks on the roadside, such as ancient trees, springs, rivers and strange rocks. In case you get lost, don't panic. You can follow these signs and slowly return to the way you came.

6. Save drinking water. When water is cut off, use natural water in the wild with caution, and don't pick and eat the fruits of unknown plants. In case of emergency, you can cut off the wild banana to get water.

7. Carrying some binoculars, magnifying glasses, knives, flashlights, whistles and other appliances can bring extra fun and convenience.

8. Protect the ecological environment. Don't hunt and catch wild animals, don't pick plants, don't light bonfires, and don't throw away garbage at will.
