Checked baggage ?

In order to ensure the safety of your checked baggage, suitcases need to be locked, cartons, woven bags need to be packed. Please do not carry cash, jewelry, securities, valuables, lithium batteries and other flammable and explosive items in your checked baggage.

It is recommended that you hang or paste a personal name tag on the outside of your checked luggage so that you can easily find it if there is a problem with the transportation of your luggage.

Valuables, digital electronic products, fragile and perishable items, etc., are not permitted to be checked as baggage or to be inserted into the baggage.

Important Documents and Valuables

Important documents and information, travel certificates, currencies, securities, jewelry, precious metals and their products, antiques and paintings, and medical emergencies that require personal attention cannot be checked as baggage or inserted into baggage.

Alcohol

When traveling on civil aviation flights within China, alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be carried on board, but can be transported as checked baggage. The packaging of alcoholic beverages should be in accordance with the relevant regulations for civil aviation transportation.

Liquid articles

Passengers traveling on domestic flights are prohibited from carrying liquid articles with them, but they can be delivered as checked baggage, and their packaging should be in accordance with the relevant regulations on civil aviation transportation. You can bring along a small amount of cosmetics for your own travel use, with a limit of one for each type of cosmetic, the container volume of which shall not exceed 100 ml and shall be placed in a separate bag to be opened and inspected.

Warm reminder: "Carrying a small amount of cosmetic products for travel and personal use, each cosmetic product is limited to one piece, and the volume of its container shall not exceed 100 ml" means that the size of the cosmetic product container shall not exceed 100 ml, rather than the amount of the substance inside the container. Please pay special attention to this rule.

For passengers from abroad who need to transfer to domestic, international and regional flights at airports in China, the duty-free liquids you bring into the country should be placed in an undamaged, sealed, transparent plastic bag, and must be presented with a proof of purchase and confirmed by a security check before being carried.

International and regional flights, each person can carry 100 ml of liquid articles Passengers on international and regional flights departing from airports in China can carry no more than 100 ml of liquid articles per piece. Containers for liquid articles should be placed in transparent resealable plastic bags with a maximum volume of not more than 1 liter. Each passenger is allowed to carry only one transparent plastic bag at a time, and the excess should be handed over.

The transparent plastic bag containing liquid goods shall be subject to separate security inspection. For passengers on international and regional flights originating from airports in China who need to change planes at foreign airports or overseas airports, you should keep the purchase vouchers for inspection when you purchase liquid goods at the duty-free stores in the terminal building or on board the airplane. The purchased items should be placed in sealed transparent plastic bags and should not be unsealed. If there are any special regulations on the carrying of duty-free liquids in foreign airports, please follow them.

When purchasing duty-free liquids, please take the initiative to inform the sales staff of your stopover and destination, as well as the relevant regulations of the country or region where you are traveling with liquids on board.

Infant and patient liquids

If you have an infant with you, you can apply to the airline at the time of ticketing for the airline to provide liquid dairy products on board free of charge; diabetic patients or other patients who are carrying essential liquids can carry an appropriate amount of medicines according to the flight time after confirming that there is no doubt in their minds by the security check and the excess amount must be The excess amount must be checked in. When carrying liquid medicines, it is better to produce relevant certificates from medical institutions.

Excess baggage

If your checked baggage exceeds the free baggage allowance stipulated in the ticket, you have to pay the excess baggage charge and fill out the excess baggage ticket. The excess baggage charge rate for domestic flights is calculated at 1.5% of the economy class fare per kilogram. The rate and calculation method of overweight baggage on international flights are in accordance with the regulations of each airline.

Declared Value

Passengers may apply for declared value of baggage if they believe that the baggage allowance of the airlines is not enough to protect their interests when they check in their baggage. The maximum declared value of each piece of baggage is RMB 8,000 yuan. If the airline disagrees with the declared value and the passenger refuses to undergo inspection, the airline has the right to refuse to accept the shipment.

Large and shaped articles can be checked in only with the prior consent of the airline.

Free Carry-on Items ?

You may carry small items on your own for free during your trip. Airlines have restrictions on size and weight. Each person is allowed to carry one item, each of which should not exceed 20 x 40 x 55 centimeters in size and 5 kilograms in weight. First class passengers can carry two five-kilogram pieces. Lighters, liquids and knives are not allowed to be taken on board as carry-on items.

Lithium batteries are not allowed in checked baggage, and only consumer electronic devices (watches, calculators, cameras, cell phones, laptops, and portable video cameras) containing lithium or lithium-ion battery cells or batteries for personal use may be carried on board. Spare batteries must be individually protected to prevent short-circuiting and can only be carried in hand luggage. Spare batteries are limited to two per person.

Disposal of Unacceptable Items ?

When checking in for your flight, you should check in any items that you cannot carry with you. If they are seized during the security check if not checked in, you can choose to have them re-checked, store them or give them up depending on the time of day.

Special Baggage ?

The transportation of small animals, sports equipment used by athletes, and performance props for performing groups requires that you make a request at the time of booking and provide a list of items to Customs so that the airline can make arrangements.

Small animals refer to cats, dogs and other play pets kept at home. (Wild animals and animals with strange shape or easy to hurt and other characteristics, such as snakes, do not belong to small animals.) Passengers carrying small animals must be proposed at the time of booking or purchasing tickets, and provide animal quarantine certificates, and can only be transported with the consent of the airline. Passengers should transport the small animals to the airport on the same day of the flight and at the time designated by the airline for check-in procedures. International flights must also have valid documents required for the entry, exit or transit of small animals transported by China and the countries involved in the transportation process.

Containers for the shipment of small animals shall meet the following requirements:

(a) Prevent small animals from damaging, escaping and extending beyond the container to damage passengers, baggage or cargo.

(b) to ensure air circulation, do not cause small animals suffocate.

(c) To prevent fecal matter from overflowing, so as not to contaminate the aircraft, equipment and other items on board.

Small animals carried by passengers cannot be transported in the passenger cabin except with the authorization of the airline. The weight of small animals and their containers shall be charged separately at the rate of excess baggage charges. The Airline shall not be responsible for injury, loss, delay, illness or death of small animals caused by refusal of entry or transit.

Exempt Baggage ?

When a passenger wishes to check in baggage that is not suitable for delivery or for which the responsibility for transportation is unclear, the airline will attach an exemption baggage tag to the checked baggage on the premise of exempting the liability for transportation and will ask you to sign the corresponding exemption clause to confirm this.

Canceling a trip after checking in baggage?

Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) security regulations require that checked baggage be transported on the same flight as the passenger. If you cancel your trip for any reason, you should retrieve your checked baggage.

Collecting checked baggage

When you collect your checked baggage at your destination, please check the baggage tags carefully so as not to take the wrong baggage, and check the basic condition of your baggage to make sure it is in good condition.

Late arrival of checked baggage

When the checked baggage of a passenger fails to arrive on the same flight as the passenger due to reasons of the airline, which causes inconvenience to the passenger's life on the journey, the passenger can receive the prescribed compensation fee for the temporary necessities of life at the stopover place or the airport of destination.

Checked Baggage Accidents

In the event of delay, damage or loss of checked baggage in transit, please contact the Baggage Enquiry Department immediately at the airport arrival hall. You must present your boarding pass, baggage tag and ID, fill out the Baggage Transportation Accident Record and confirm each item.

Checked baggage loss, at the latest should be from the date of receipt of checked baggage within seven days to the carrier to raise objections; checked baggage delays, at the latest should be from the date of delivery of checked baggage to the passenger within 21 days to the carrier to raise objections

Baggage compensation for abnormal transportation

Baggage loss, breakage, or the loss of the contents of the application to the airline company to apply for compensation. Except for baggage with declared value, the maximum limit of baggage compensation is RMB 100 per kilogram for each passenger on domestic routes and SDR 1131 per passenger on international routes, which is the maximum liability limit. If the depreciated value of your articles is lower than the maximum limit, you will be compensated by paying the lower value. The responsibility for the safekeeping of items carried by passengers is the responsibility of the passengers themselves. No compensation will be paid unless it can be proved that the airline is responsible.

Definition of Baggage?

An item that a passenger carries with him/her for the purpose of wear, use, comfort or convenience during travel. If not otherwise specified it also includes your checked baggage and carry-on items.

Checked baggage must not exceed 50 kilograms in weight and 40 x 60 x 100 centimeters in size per piece.

Free baggage allowance per passenger (including checked and self-cared baggage): 40kg for First Class passengers holding an adult or child, 30kg for Business Class passengers and 20kg for Economy Class passengers. There is no free baggage allowance for passengers holding infant tickets.
