Single-stage cylindrical gear reducer design program

Reducer is widely used in various types of mechanical equipment transmission device. The traditional design of gear reducer is generally determined by repeated trial and error checking, although it can also be obtained to meet the given conditions of the design program, but it is generally not the best. The paper establishes a mathematical model for the optimal design of single-stage cylindrical gear reducer through the selection of design variables, the determination of objective function and constraints, and finally carries out the optimization calculation with the help of MATLAB optimization toolbox, gives the optimization design program, and obtains the optimization parameters. By comparing the results, the volume of the designed gearbox is reduced by 25% compared with the original design.
