If the color of your computer screen is off, you may see a lot of content that has a chromatic aberration. However, many partners do not know where to calibrate.

First of all, before doing any calibration, make sure, your computer has been on for more than 30 minutes. This will ensure that the display is at a normal level.

Both Windows and Mac systems have their own way of calibrating colors. In Windows 10, for example, you can follow the prompts to get started by typing color management directly into the Nina search window, clicking Advanced here, and then clicking Calibrate Display.

We'll start by finding the Menu Settings button on the monitor and using to reset all the settings in full before moving on to the next step.

The first adjustment is gamma.

You need to adjust the effect to look like the one in the center in the gamma sample image that will appear in the band. Click Next and drag the slider up and down to just the right position. Click Next.

The second adjustments you need to make are brightness and contrast.

Click next, see the example, need to adjust to the style of the center image, click next, this time, we adjust the brightness on the monitor. Use the buttons on the monitor to open the menu and find the brightness settings. Adjust the brightness level until you can clearly distinguish the shirt from the jacket, and you can barely see the X.

Click next, look at the sample image, you need to adjust the contrast to just right, click next. Again, use the buttons on the monitor to adjust the contrast as high as you can while still being able to see the shirt folds and buttons, click Next.

See the instructions and click Next. Our goal is to adjust the red, yellow and blue sliders to remove all color bias corrections from the gray bars. Once the settings are complete, click Next.

You can click the button to see the current calibration and and previous calibration.

If you're happy with your adjustments and don't need to fire up the ClearType tuner to adjust the font. Just click Done.

How do you calibrate colors in Apple? Click on Little Apple, open System Preferences, find your monitor icon, click on it, and then click on Color to follow the wizard.

It's worth noting, though, that this calibration obviously comes from the user's own senses, which is fine for popular use, but for professionals, such as video editors and visual designers, forget it.

If you want a slightly higher level of color grading, you can try using some color grading software. For example, the more commonly used, Samsung's Natural Color Pro, which can be used to perform monitor calibration and create profiles.

Calibration is divided into basic and advanced modes, and the system comes with a calibration method is not much different, which generates a configuration file that can be used in some graphic applications such as Photoshop when, because the monitor display color and the final color of the print may be different. With the profiles, the results can be better guaranteed. We won't go into the details of how to use them.

Besides these two uses, Natural Color Pro can also be used to set color preferences to meet your personal preferences.

But even that's not enough for professional-grade color display. Because both the system and Natural Color Pro rely on subjective judgment.

In the professional world, we use hardware to calibrate colors, such as the Spyder. This kind of supporting equipment is sold in Jingdong or Taobao, it basically relies on objective factors to adjust, not affected by the subjective feelings of people, so the color correction is more standard. Unless you are a professional, there is no need to buy it. After all, your monitor may not be as expensive as a set of color calibrators.

Well, that's all for today. If you need this Natural Color Pro for your daily calibration, feel free to reply Monitor Color Calibration in the background of our WeChat public number.
