The reporter learned that the project will be built in two phases. The first-phase production capacity is 600,000 tons/year, covering an area of 688 mu. The main equipment includes propane dehydrogenation unit, polypropylene unit and hydrogen purification unit. After it is put into production, it can achieve an annual output of 600,000 tons of polypropylene, 28,000 tons of hydrogen and some liquefied petroleum gas. The second phase of the project has started construction, with an annual output of 600,000 tons. It is planned to achieve an annual output of 6,543,800+200,000 tons of polypropylene in 2022.

Polypropylene, known as "industrial rice", is the raw material of plastics, which is widely used in high-end medical devices, high-end home appliances, auto parts, electronic equipment, food-grade packaging and other fields, and is an essential basic raw material for the development of high-end manufacturing. The 65438+200,000 tons/year propane dehydrogenation project invested by Guangwu Holding Group adopts the current production technology of propane dehydrogenation to produce high-performance polypropylene, which is stable, safe and environmentally friendly. After the first phase of the project with an annual output of 600,000 tons is put into production, it can achieve an annual output of 600,000 tons of polypropylene, 28,000 tons of hydrogen and part of liquefied petroleum gas, which will effectively fill the capacity gap in Greater Bay Area and provide high-end manufacturing industries with polymer raw materials and clean energy supply in the region.

According to the data of China Chemical Industry Association, in recent years, China's polyolefin production capacity has increased rapidly, especially polypropylene. The production scale of polypropylene in China is also expanding, from 20 17 to19.79 million tons, with an increase of 1 1.8 1%.
