Matters needing attention in high-speed tablet press

1. Don't disassemble the protective cover, safety cover and other devices on mechanical equipment, but install them when using them.

2. The stamping die must undergo strict flaw detection inspection and shape inspection, without cracks, deformation and lack of edges, with appropriate hardness and accurate size. If it is unqualified, it should not be used to avoid serious damage to the machine.

3. The particle powder should not exceed 100 mesh, because it will cause more powder flying on the upper punch and more material leakage on the lower punch, which will affect the machine parts, and it will be easy to wear, stick materials and lose raw materials.

4. Don't use undried raw materials, because it will make the powder stick to the surface of the punch.

5, if there is a jump or stagnation in the operation, never use your hands to get it, so as not to cause hand injury accidents.

6. When driving, turn on the motor first, and then start the clutch after it works normally.

7. If the machine has abnormal vibration or noise during use, please stop the machine immediately for inspection.

8. Don't exert too much pressure when using. Generally, it is normal to measure the overload current of 380-volt motor not exceeding 4 amps when tabletting.

9. Increase of tablet weight difference: In the process of tabletting, the tablet weight difference can only be considered as qualified if it exceeds the limit specified in the Pharmacopoeia. However, in the process of tabletting, it is often found that the difference in tablet weight increases. The reasons and treatment methods are briefly described as follows:

(1) The length of punch is uneven, which easily leads to the increase of chip weight difference. Therefore, before use, check each punch with calipers before use. If a single chip is light, the downward movement may fail, resulting in less particle filling than others. A single downward punch should be checked to remove obstacles.

(2) Blockage of the hopper or granulator: When tabletting, if the particles used are fine, sticky or wet, foreign substances such as cotton yarn ends and tablets are occasionally mixed in the particles, which makes the particles added into the die hole less and affects the tablet weight. If the weight of tablets suddenly decreases, please stop the machine for inspection.

(3) Changes in tablet weight caused by particles: Too wet particles, too much fine powder, too large difference in particle thickness, and insufficient lubricant in particles will also cause changes in tablet weight difference, so the quality of particles should be improved.

(4) The change of tablet weight is generally caused by the failure or negligence of tablet press. Therefore, in the process of tabletting, you should do a good job of maintenance, carefully check whether the parts are damaged, and weigh the tablets every once in a while (10-20 minutes) to see if the weight of the tablets meets the requirements.

Four, high-speed tablet press die loading method

Before stamping die device, remove the hopper, powder feeder, feeder frame and other components, wipe the turntable working surface, die hole and installed stamping die one by one, get ready, and install according to the following steps.

(1) Middle die device: sleeve the fastening screws of the middle die on the turntable one by one to make them parallel to the outer circle area of the turntable, and do not let the middle die contact the screw head. The middle die device is very tight, so it should be placed flat. You can hit the middle mold with a stick (random tool) to make it rush in and let the middle mold enter the mold gently. The plane of the hole cannot be higher than the plane of the turntable to be qualified, and then tighten the screws.

(2) Upward punching device: pull the tongue on the notch of the upper guide rail disc, coat some vegetable oil on the tail of the middle rod, insert them into the hole one by one, and rotate the punching rod with the thumb and forefinger. Check that the nose enters the middle die up and down, rotates flexibly, and is qualified without hard collision. After installation, pull down the tongue.

(3) Underpunch device: Pull the small door on the main body and install it through the round hole of the main body. The installation method is the same as that of the upper punch, and the wafer must be covered flat after installation.

(4) After all the molds are assembled, put the removed parts back in their original positions, and continue to turn the trial handwheel by hand to make the turntable rotate 1-2 times. Observe that the punch moves up and down in the middle die hole and moves on the curved guide rail. It must be flexible without collision and hard friction. Start the motor and let it run at idle speed for 2-3 minutes, then it can be put into production smoothly and normally.

Instructions for use of high-speed tablet press

1. Before use, the quality of the stamping die must be checked repeatedly for edges, cracks, deformation, tightness and completeness of the device.

2. Check whether the powder of granular raw materials is dry, and the powder content in granules should not exceed 10%. Do not press hard if it is unqualified, otherwise it will affect the normal operation, service life and raw material loss of the machine.

3. During the initial trial operation, put the indicator needle controlled by the pressure regulator on 6, pour the powder into the bucket, rotate the trial drive wheel by hand, and adjust the filling and pressure at the same time, gradually increase the weight and hardness of the tablets to meet the requirements of finished products, then start the motor first, and then open the clutch for formal operation and production. In the production process, the quality of tablets must be sampled regularly to see if it meets the requirements and adjusted if necessary.

4. The choice of speed directly affects the service life of the machine. Because the viscosity of raw materials, the size and pressure of slice diameter can not be uniformly specified in use, this machine is a stepless speed change device, which is suitable for pressing large materials with poor diameter and viscosity, fast speed and difficult to form. It is quickly suitable for pressing and bonding materials with good lubricity and easy molding. Therefore, users must decide according to the actual situation.

5. Managers must be familiar with the technical performance, internal structure and operating principle of the control mechanism of this machine, and must not smell the working place during operation, so as to prevent faults and damage parts and ensure safe production.
