According to the provisions of China's Criminal Law, the penalty for the crime of illegal practice of medicine is divided into three sentencing ranges, one is the seriousness of the circumstances, the penalty is less than three years, detention or control, and or a single fine; the second is a serious damage to the health of the patient, the penalty is more than three years than ten years of fixed-term imprisonment, and a fine; the third is to cause the death of the patient, the penalty is more than ten years of fixed-term imprisonment, and a fine.
