Taking a plant in Jiaxing as an example, the plant was designed and constructed in 2000 and completed in 2001, and the products mainly include water-based paints, oil-based paints, automobile paints, wood paints and so on. As the company's project has been put into production for a long time, the original production process is highly open, the degree of automation of exhaust gas treatment is low, and the VOCs collection device is not available. In addition the storage tanks are very poorly sealed, some of the structure is aging, the exhaust gas is easy to volatilize, and can no longer adapt to the regional environment and the sustainable development of the company's requirements, and need to be renovated to meet the requirements of the EIA.

The plant emits VOCs during the production process, and such pollutants contain irritating odors and affect the health of workers in the workshop. Our company Rhyme Blue Environmental Protection has designed two systems of exhaust gas treatment and ventilation, including exhaust gas treatment device, environmental air exchange system, local exhaust system and air conditioning system. In addition, our company also carries out comprehensive treatment and renovation for the original ventilation and air-conditioning system and exhaust gas treatment system, in order to adapt to the national development trend of environmental protection, safety and occupational health. The main remodeling content is as follows:

1, pump room remodeling. The steel solvent tanks are replaced with stainless steel tanks, the protective shed and ventilation equipment are removed, the tank room is partially backfilled, and the tanks are completely buried. Underground pump room backfill changed to the ground, the pump room moved to make the pump room and storage tanks of the fire distance in line with the specification requirements.

2, automatic control system transformation. The workshop's eight decentralized cylinders are equipped with automatic metering control system, and on the basis of the original instrumentation monitoring system, a new set of DCS control system is added to set up the weighing and metering and control valves and other control instruments. After the transformation, automatic control, centralized monitoring and information management can be realized to ensure the normal, stable, safe, reliable and efficient operation of the device.

3, exhaust gas treatment system remodeling. The original plant set in the exhaust system at the end of a number of activated carbon absorption treatment device for integration, so that all the plant's exhaust vents reduced to three. The VOCs escaping from the feeding and production process are transformed with localized trapping and ventilation to reduce the health hazards of VOCs to the employees, and activated carbon adsorption devices are added at the end of the ventilated outlets. The exhaust gas treatment system is transformed from the original activated carbon adsorption to a tail gas incineration device, which solves the problem of pollution emission of VOCs more thoroughly. Through the transformation of the above stages, the original production feeding mode has undergone qualitative changes, from the production of all aspects of the large limit to reduce the disorderly emission of VOCs, through the centralized capture, improve the concentration of exhaust gas, incineration to reduce energy loss.
