Jihe, also known as Jishui, an ancient water name, originates from Jiyuan City, Henan Province today, flows through Henan and Shandong and enters the Bohai Sea. The modern river course of the lower reaches of the Yellow River is the original river course of Jishui. Today's Jiyuan City in Henan Province is named after it is the birthplace of Jishui. Jinan, Jining, and Jiyang in Shandong Province are all named after Jishui.
