What pipes need to be insulated?

1. Heat (cold) medium pipes: Of course, some pipes whose temperature is not very high in a short distance can be insulated or not, but pipes that transport steam over long distances must be insulated, otherwise it will not be transported to the end of the user. It turns into water, such as pipelines that carry gas in close distances. Some are insulated, while others are not. High-temperature pipes must be insulated, otherwise the damage to the pipes will be great, such as hot air ducts in blast furnace production.

2. Cooling pipelines such as: central air conditioning heating medium pipelines, household air conditioning pipelines.

3. Water pipes exposed to the air or surface layer to prevent freezing in winter.

Attention should be paid to pipe insulation in insulation projects:

First, the pipeline workload is relatively large. If the pipeline we need to insulate does not require much work, then we can simply protect it. However, if the workload is extremely heavy, or if the pipelines are working for a long time on the construction site, we must pay special attention to the insulation effect. This must not only protect the temperature of the pipe walls, but also prevent them from being damaged during work.

Second, the length and thickness of the pipe and other patterns. When insulating pipes, we must also pay special attention to the length and thickness of the pipes. This is the main condition for insulation construction. If they are extremely thick ventilation pipes, then we must pay attention to the integrity of the outer insulation construction. As well as sealing, if it is a small water pipe, then it only needs to be combined with good thermal insulation effect.
