Shenmu People's Hospital won the bid for medical equipment.

A villager in Yulin, Shaanxi accidentally fell down and was stabbed in the throat with a wooden stick. The situation is very critical. What's more, local roads were blocked by snowstorm. The villager still lives in the mountainous area. If the wounded are transported by car, it will be difficult to reach the urban hospital in less than 5 hours. Such a heavy injury can't bear such a long time of transportation, and the road surface is slippery in snowy days, which is easy to cause more serious traffic accidents. At this moment, a rescue helicopter arrived in time, and it took only 26 minutes to send the injured to the hospital and was treated in time. After emergency treatment, the injured villagers were successfully rescued.

Then the question is, why did a rescue helicopter arrive in time to save people in such a small mountain village? It turns out that this is a public welfare project jointly carried out by an airline and Shenmu Hospital. This rescue is not the first casualty they rescued with a rescue helicopter. Since the project started the rescue helicopter, 9 free emergency rescues have been completed, saving at least 9 fresh lives.

This project is of great significance, because the medical conditions in mountainous areas are very limited, and at most, it can treat some minor diseases such as colds. In case of acute diseases such as myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction, or accidental injuries like Yulin, medical clinics in mountainous areas can't handle them at all. However, due to traffic restrictions and long distance in mountainous areas, it is difficult to send patients to urban hospitals in time, and it is very likely that they will die because they can't be treated in time. The cooperation project between this airline and urban hospitals has undoubtedly solved this pain point. What's more commendable is that the delivery of the rescue helicopter is free for the villagers, which further reduces the financial burden of the villagers and really does a good thing for the villagers.

I think this kind of project is worth popularizing nationwide, so that more people living in mountain villages with poor medical conditions and inconvenient transportation can enjoy such treatment, and their life safety can be further guaranteed.
