Liaoning Mental Health Center, Liaoning Third People's Hospital, formerly known as Liaoning Provincial Psychiatric Hospital, was founded in 1950, formerly known as the anti-American war hospital, renamed in 1954 as a psychiatric hospital. 1995 approved by the Provincial Department of Health, the hospital, in line with the "big specialties, small comprehensive" mode of operation, the hospital has added internal, external, women, pediatrics, stomatology, ophthalmology and other comprehensive departments, while changing its name to Liaoning Mental Health Center, Liaoning Third People's Hospital. In 1995, approved by the provincial health department, in line with the "large specialties, small comprehensive" mode of operation, the hospital has increased the internal, external, women, children, stomatology, ophthalmology and other comprehensive departments, and at the same time renamed Liaoning Provincial Mental Health Center, Liaoning Province, the Third People's Hospital, the hospital is located in Kaifeng City, Culture Road, No. 10, the province's only one to undertake the province's mental health care, teaching, research, prevention and forensic examination of mental illnesses as a whole neuropsychiatric hospital, is the province's psychiatric medical personnel continuing education base. It is the only neuropsychiatric hospital in the province that undertakes the medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention and forensic identification of mental diseases, and is the continuing education base for psychiatrists in the province, as well as the teaching hospital of Jinzhou Medical College and Liaoning Provincial Staff Medical College. After more than 50 years and generations of unremitting pursuit, it has developed into a large-scale hospital with psychiatry as its main specialty and general medicine as its supplementary specialty.
