Beijing Institute of Health Professions (BIHP) was formed in March 2012 from the former Beijing School of Hygiene, Beijing Nursing School, and Beijing School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (BSCM), which are the three junior colleges in Beijing. It is a public full-time general higher vocational school approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and recorded by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, subordinate to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Health.
