Hospital logistics management is a general term for hospital materials, general affairs, equipment, finance, capital construction work. It includes clothing, food, housing, transportation, water, electricity, coal, gas, cold, heat and many other aspects. Hospital logistics management work is mainly divided into financial management and general management of two parts. Financial management includes economic management and financial management. General management includes material management, infrastructure property management, equipment management and life service management.
For a long time, due to various reasons, most of the logistics of the hospital system is the implementation of the supply system type of physical supply form, people are also accustomed to this welfare type of "supply" and "receive" relationship. Therefore, most hospitals still keep a complete category, self-contained, and "large and complete" or "small and complete" service organizations and service facilities, as well as a large logistics team. This pattern of "hospital-run society" is unavoidable when productivity levels are low and wages are low, and it has played a certain positive role. However, with the establishment and improvement of the socialist market economy and the deepening of medical reform, the current hospital logistics management system has become more and more obvious to expose the insurmountable shortcomings.
