On the afternoon of July 10, the "Inaugural Meeting and First General Meeting of the Standards Working Committee for Digital Medical Devices and Systems of the CECS" was held in Chongqing, marking that a series of standards will be introduced to lead and standardize the development of the digital medical industry in China.
At the first general meeting, Dr. Kerong Dai, China's leading expert in digital medicine, director of the National Center for Digital Medical Engineering, and lifelong professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, was elected as the first director of the committee. The standards committee consists of eight professional working groups, including digital medical imaging, clinical and non-invasive testing, digital hospital and collaborative medicine, precise and intelligent surgical equipment, organ replacement and assistance, as well as three comprehensive committees.
It is reported that the standards committee will be launched within the year three-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic equipment, medical RFID (radio frequency) electronic tags, medical collaborative service system, ultrasound surgical guidance equipment, CT surgical guidance equipment, gastrointestinal capsule gastroscope and dozens of national and industry standards development.
