Major Courses
The major courses cover the main disciplines of medicine and engineering.
Public **** basic courses: ideological and political theory courses, innovation and entrepreneurship guidance, introduction to biomedical engineering.
Basic medical courses: human anatomy, pathology, pharmacology, internal medicine, surgery, pathogenic biology, etc.
Specialized basic courses: Advanced Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Mechanical Drawing, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, etc.
Specialized core courses: ultrasound therapy, principles of medical instrumentation, biomedical sensors, microcomputer principles and interface technology, C language and programming, medical signal processing, basic electronic circuits.
Cultivation Sessions
Years 1-3: Learning basic knowledge of medicine and engineering and cultivating comprehensive quality. Year 5: Professional internship and thesis. Students go to the hospital equipment department, the company's R & D department and other internship bases to carry out professional internship, and carry out thesis design work.

Career Opportunities
This program has 3.5 years of theoretical teaching and 1.5 years of practical teaching. The college advocates "my learning is my master", requiring students to master biomedical engineering technology and related skills, to be able to organically penetrate the knowledge of science and technology in medicine, to be able to understand the needs of the clinic, and to be engaged in pioneering work in medical equipment at the crossroads of the integration of medicine and industry. The main employment direction of the graduates of this specialty is hospitals at all levels and medical equipment enterprises, engaging in medical and industrial combination of medical equipment use, maintenance and management work.
