Ammonia, freon and hydrocarbons are widely used to compress refrigerants. 22(CHF2CL (R22) is a widely used freon refrigerant, mainly used in household air conditioners and low-temperature refrigerators. The thermodynamic properties of R22 are similar to those of ammonia. The standard gasification temperature is -40.8℃, the condensation pressure is usually less than 1.6MPa, R22 is non-combustible and non-explosive, and it is safer and more reliable than ammonia in use. The unit volume of R22 is about 60% higher than that of R 12, and the refrigeration capacity and saturation pressure at low temperature are higher than that of R 12 and ammonia water. In recent years, R 134a has been used as refrigerant for large air-conditioning chillers.

Freon 502(R502):R502 is a * * boiling solution composed of R 12 and R22, with the percentages of 5 1.2% and 48.8% respectively. Compared with R 1 15 and R22, R502 has better thermodynamic properties and is more suitable for low temperature. The standard evaporation temperature of R502 is -45.6℃, and the normal working pressure is close to R22. Under the same working conditions, the refrigerating capacity per unit volume is greater than R22, but the exhaust temperature is lower than R22. R502 is used in fully enclosed, semi-enclosed or some medium and small refrigeration units, and its evaporation temperature can be as low as -55℃. R502 is widely used in refrigerators.

Lyons 134a(C2H2F4, R 134a): It is a relatively new refrigerant with an evaporation temperature of -26.5℃. Its main thermodynamic properties are similar to those of R 12, and it will not destroy the ozone layer in the air. It is an environmentally friendly refrigerant advocated in recent years, but it will cause greenhouse effect. It is an ideal alternative refrigerant for R 12.

Environmental protection refrigerants generally have the following types.

R- 134a (tetrafluoroethane) refrigerant. ※
