Chapter IV Financial Aid Policies and Related Procedures for Students with Family Economic Difficulties

Article 7: Main Contents of National Financial Aid Policies for Students with Family Economic Difficulties in Colleges and Universities

In accordance with the Opinions on the Establishment of Sound Financial Aid Policies for Students with Family Economic Difficulties in Ordinary Undergraduate Colleges, Vocational Schools of Higher Education and Vocational Schools of Medium-sized Vocationality, Jilin Vocational and Technical College has established the National Scholarship, the National Inspirational Scholarships, national scholarships, national grants, national student loans (credit student loans), free education for teacher training students, national education subsidies for higher education students serving in the military, tuition compensation for grassroots employment, student loan reimbursement, new student enrollment subsidy programs, work assistance, tuition remission and other financial assistance policies for students from economically disadvantaged families in colleges and universities.

Before enrollment, students from economically disadvantaged families can apply for a credit student loan at the county (city or district) level of the education department where their families are registered, which can be used to settle tuition and accommodation fees. At the time of enrollment, new students from economically disadvantaged families can report to school through the school's "green channel". After entering the school, the school will take different measures to provide financial assistance after verification.

Article VIII: The main contents of the internal financial support policy for students from economically disadvantaged families

The university has set aside 5% of the tuition fee income for the purpose of rewarding and providing financial support to students, which can be in the form of the following subsidies.

(I) School Scholarships

School scholarships are mainly awarded to students with good academic performance and full-time enrollment in the second year or above (including the second year). Scholarships are divided into three grades. First-class scholarships are allocated places according to the number of grades and majors, accounting for 2% of the total number of students, and each person receives 1,000 yuan per year; second- and third-class scholarships are allocated places according to the number of classes, and second-class scholarships are assessed at 3% of the total number of students in a class and each person receives 500 yuan per year; third-class scholarships are assessed at 10% of the total number of students in a class and each person receives 200 yuan per year.

(2) Difficulty Grant

The Difficulty Grant is a one-time financial aid issued by the school to students who suffer from major accidental injuries, major illnesses, or major changes in their families that make their lives difficult. Students with family financial difficulties apply in person, and provide proof of family financial situation or significant circumstances and other materials, reviewed and verified by the relevant departments, reported to the school for approval by the Student Affairs Department to organize the distribution.

(1) National Unified Examination for Admission to Ordinary Colleges and Universities

2. 3. Care of extra points. 4.
