The annual "Canon Cup" Japanese Speech Contest hosted by Canon Dalian has been successfully held for 18 times, cultivating a large number of Japanese-speaking talents for China's economic construction and generating good social benefits. In addition, Canon Dalian has spent more than 800,000 RMB to establish three Hope Primary Schools in the mountainous areas in the north of Dalian City, and has continued to support the three Canon Hope Primary Schools since then, establishing a system of regular visits by members of the Company's Management Committee every year, and donating to the establishment of the "Ocean Township Canon Computer Teaching Room" in Changhai County. This has covered three cities and one county in the vicinity of Dalian City, contributing to the Hope Project and being widely praised by the society.

During the SARS outbreak, Canon Dalian took the lead in donating RMB 100,000 to the Dalian Municipal Government as a fund for the prevention and treatment of SARS, thus realizing Canon's corporate philosophy of "****sheng".

On March 4, 2007, the city of Dalian was hit by a 100-year storm. Canon Dalian donated RMB 50,000 to the Dalian Charity Federation, and was the first enterprise in the city to donate to the disaster-stricken citizens of Dalian after the storm.

On April 27, 2007, Canon Dalian provided the "Dalian University of Technology Canon Scholarship" to the Dalian University of Technology, which is used to support poor college students of the Dalian University of Technology.

In May 2007, Canon Dalian decided to subsidize three hope elementary school in the northern mountainous areas and conduct summer camp activities every year, aiming at broadening the horizons and enriching the minds of children in poor mountainous areas.
