What is the reimbursement rate for Class A medicines?

The reimbursement rate for Class A drugs is 100%. Expenses incurred by basic medical insurance participants using drugs in the "Class A List" of the Drug List will be paid in accordance with the provisions of the basic medical insurance. The expenses incurred for drugs in the "Class B Catalog" will be paid by the insured person at a certain percentage and then according to the provisions of the basic medical insurance.

The reimbursement rate for Class A drugs is 100 percent, while that for Class B drugs is 70-80 percent. The National Medicines List of Basic Medical Insurance divides medicines into three categories: Category A can be reimbursed in full according to the proportion of medical insurance; Category B requires individuals to bear part of the cost first according to a certain proportion, and then the rest of it will be reimbursed according to the proportion of medical insurance stipulated by the law; and Category C is not reimbursed, and is borne entirely by the individual.
