1. Get the tools first, steel tape measure, ruler, cardboard, utility knife, and pen.
2. Determine the size of the carton you want. The size I want to make here is: 12cm*6cm*8cm (length X width X height). I drew a rendering of the cutting line and creasing line of a carton. The cutting line needs to be drawn through with a utility knife. The creasing line does not need to be cut through, just a trace is pressed out.
3. Let’s start by drawing lines on the cardboard.
4. Then cut out the cardboard along the edge.
5. In this step, you need to draw another line on the middle cutting line. This is because the cardboard has a certain thickness and needs to be cut outwards, otherwise the box will be stretched when sealing.
6. Then use a utility knife to dig out the groove.
7. Next comes the indentation. The indentation on the side should be downwards. The reason is the same as step 6, in order to avoid supporting the box.
8. Now that the work is basically completed, you can seal the box. Because in order for everyone to understand clearly, the picture is drawn on the reverse side. Now you can only fold it backwards when folding.
9. The final product is done.
