Chaoshan Hospital is now known as Chaozhou City Center Hospital, commonly known as the county hospital
This designation is a remnant of the historical evolution of the city of Chaozhou City, Chaoan County before the 80's, the county seat will be in the downtown area of present-day Chaozhou City. Chaozhou City, Chaoan County several times divided, in 92 years after Chaozhou City upgraded to prefecture-level city, the city set up Xiangqiao District Chaoan County City before moving out of Chaozhou City.
In general, the county hospital is larger, but the city hospital has a better environment. Both also have their own strengths in terms of specialization.
For men's medicine, there is a men's hospital in Chaozhou (at the Fu'an intersection on Chaozhou Avenue), and several other private hospitals also boast expertise in this area, as does the Military Hospital 188. If you don't feel comfortable having to go to a government-run hospital, these two seem to be about the same.
