Electrical equipment moisture problems and optimization countermeasures paper

Abstract If the space where the electrical equipment is located in the humidity is large, it will lead to the gradual reduction of the insulation of the electrical equipment, which will lead to leakage of electricity and other conditions, bringing potential danger to the safety of people's lives. The article from the humidity, temperature, media composition of the three aspects of the factors that lead to quality problems of electrical equipment analysis, and based on this, put forward to strengthen the optimization of electrical equipment moisture countermeasures.

Keywords: electrical equipment; moisture; key issues

From the perspective of the electrical equipment itself, if the humidity of the space in which it is located is relatively large, it will lead to a gradual reduction in the insulation of the electrical equipment, which will lead to leakage of electricity and other conditions, and will bring potential danger to the safety of people's lives. Coupled with the relatively high humidity, the components inside the electrical equipment are subjected to corrosion, rust phenomenon, resulting in low operating efficiency of the equipment, the occurrence of operational accidents, bringing economic losses to the enterprise. This shows that it is very necessary to do a good job of electrical equipment moistureproof work.

1, the significance of electrical equipment moisture

For electrical equipment, its metal loss is mainly divided into four types, the first is corrosion; the second is fatigue; the third is friction; the fourth is wear. These will have a direct impact on the operating period of electrical equipment. Among them, moisture causes a relatively high percentage of electrical equipment damage. At present, we have reached the relevant standards in the exploration and design of conventional electrical equipment, and have accumulated a large amount of experience in production and application, which has satisfied the use of electrical equipment in conventional environments [1]. However, there is relatively little research on the use of electrical equipment in special environments. In the early stage, people want to use the relevant facilities to ventilate and dehumidify to ensure that the electrical equipment is always in a drier environment. Practice has shown that it is relatively difficult to provide an ideal operating environment for electrical equipment, through air-conditioning facilities such as dehumidification and other consumption of . More resources, and electricity expenditure is relatively large, can not meet the needs of the development of a conservation-oriented society. Therefore, do a good job of electrical equipment moisture work to explore a strong practical significance.

2, leading to quality problems in electrical equipment, the main factors

2.1 Humidity

Usually, the degree of water vapor contained in the air is also known as humidity. When the higher the moisture, the greater the air humidity, generally expressed in 1kg of air the number of water vapor present into the degree of humidity, as shown in Table 1. In the condition of the same temperature, the air has a certain degree of water vapor content, when the temperature rises, the air to meet the saturation standard of water vapor content will be more. When the temperature reaches a certain standard, the air water vapor content as well as the ratio between saturated water vapor can be seen as the corresponding humidity. When the water vapor content of the air increases and reaches or exceeds the saturation condition, water dew will appear. If the water vapor saturated air is not cooled, a mist of moisture will form in the air. In this case, the moisture will be attached to the electrical equipment, in the long run, will make the electrical equipment to varying degrees of corrosion, affecting the operation of electrical equipment.

2.2 Temperature

Electrical equipment chassis temperature and humidity will change over time. Electrical equipment stored in the surrounding environment relative humidity change is less than its critical value, the temperature will make the corrosion efficiency changes, when the temperature rises here, because the environment is drier, so that the electrical equipment will not occur corrosion conditions. The relative humidity exceeds the critical point of electrical equipment humidity, temperature change will play a certain effect, when the temperature rises ten degrees Celsius, the corrosion efficiency will be increased by two times [2].

2.3 Medium Composition

The air contains a large number of collateral gases [1], such as sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and so on. These substances will promote the corrosion efficiency of electrical equipment to some extent. Among them, sulfur dioxide will bring serious corrosion to electrical equipment. When the concentration of sulfur dioxide contained in the air is higher than 0.01%, it will lead to a gradual decrease in the critical point humidity of electrical equipment from the previous 70% to 50%. Combined with the results of atmospheric conditions testing, electrical equipment corrosion efficiency and airborne sulfur dioxide content has a direct relationship between.

3, strengthen the optimization of electrical equipment moisture countermeasures

3.1 conventional moisture way

Combined with the principle of material corrosion, the control of the environmental moisture content as the basis for the environment when the relative humidity control in the environment within the scope of 50%, to ensure that the storage of electrical equipment safety [3]. In humid conditions, the role of electrical equipment safety protection inside the electrical distribution cabinet is moisture-proof. Typically, there are five conventional electrical moisture-proofing methods, as follows.

3.1.1 Isolation method to the electrical equipment for closed processing, so that moisture can not enter the electrical equipment [1]. For example, setting isolation barriers, setting independent storage space for electrical equipment, installing sealed chassis, and so on.

3.1.2 Discharge method to discharge moisture from the electrical equipment in a timely manner, such as the installation of induced draft fan or set the moisture exhaust vent.

3.1.3 blocking method in order to prevent moisture from entering the electrical equipment, you can store electrical equipment in the site of the various channels to fill the block, so that moisture can not enter the electrical equipment. For example, the use of plastic sheeting for the filling of holes, and the use of plastic sheets for sealing.

3.1.4 Absorption method using a number of moisture-absorbing materials with the function of electrical equipment storage space for the absorption of moisture. For example, in the electrical equipment placed in a large number of moisture-absorbing agents, or in the environment where the electrical equipment is placed in a large number of moisture-absorbing materials.

3.1.5 Heating and drying method to remove moisture from electrical equipment by heating. For example, installing heating bulbs to drive moisture out of the electrical equipment.

3.2 Moisture program

Usually, electrical equipment is generally established in the distribution cabinet, which should do a good job of cabinet corrosion. Due to the electrical distribution cabinet cabinet directly and humid environment for contact, the chance of corrosion is relatively high, the cabinet needs to use the corresponding moisture countermeasures to deal with. When the distribution cabinet internal sealing treatment, but also in which to place a certain amount of desiccant, to facilitate the absorption of moisture in the cabinet, to the distribution cabinet internal electrical equipment to create a dry operating environment [2]. If there is an intermittent working condition, it is necessary to install the corresponding internal and external pressure difference protection countermeasures inside the distribution cabinet. When the electrical switchgear is changed from stopping operation to working operation, or in a humid environment, due to the relatively high temperature difference between day and night, a certain pressure difference is generated between the inside and outside of the sealed switchgear cabinet, assuming that it is not handled scientifically, the seals of the switchgear cabinet will be aging due to the influence of the pressure [4]. And by setting the differential pressure protection countermeasures, the phenomenon can be avoided, the specific program is as follows:

1) Electrical equipment placed on the rack, not directly on the ground.

2) If the moisture is very large, buy special electrical equipment moisture dehumidifier, the bottom can use a little moisture-proof agent.

3) Pay attention to ventilation, no natural wind with a fan forced ventilation. If the morning and evening humidity is too large, you have to close the door and windows, less humidity during the day and then ventilation.

4) With antiseptic, the focus can be sealed parts of the spray insulation paint. If necessary, you can also seal the whole 5) corrosion and humidity is too serious place, the machine room as far as possible to build on the upper floors.

4, concluding remarks

In short, electrical equipment operating for a long time in a humid environment will give its electrical properties as well as the stability of the direct impact [5], resulting in electrical failures. Only do a good job of electrical equipment moisture, in order to fundamentally reduce the failure to appear. Therefore, to strengthen the moisture-proof technology and design of electrical equipment to explore, to enhance the construction and operation of power companies will play an important role.
