The sample stock of CSI 180 Index is used as the sample space.
2. Number of Samples: 30 stocks
3. Sample Selection Methodology
In the sample space, 10 stocks from each of the three industries, namely, advanced manufacturing industry, modern service industry and basic industry, are selected to constitute the index sample. The steps for selecting the samples of each industry are as follows:
1. Select the stocks that rank in the top 50% of the same industry in terms of net profit index in the most recent financial report;
2. Select the stocks that rank in the top 10 in terms of average daily market capitalization over the past year among the stocks selected in step 1.
The advanced manufacturing industry mainly includes listed companies with high technology content by adopting advanced technical equipment and modern management means; the modern service industry mainly includes listed companies representing the development direction of the service industry by applying modern operation methods and information technology means; and the basic industry mainly includes listed companies in the basic industries of the national economy, such as energy, transportation, raw materials, and so on. The correspondence between the three major industries and the industry subcategories is shown in the table below.

Note: Industry subcategories are classified in the following manner:
(1) If a company's revenue from a main business accounts for more than 50% of the company's total revenue, the company is classified in the industry that corresponds to the business;
(2) If the company does not have a main business that accounts for more than 50% of its total revenue, but a business has the highest revenues and profits of all businesses, and both account for the company's total revenue, and both account for the company's total revenue.
(2) If a company does not have a business that accounts for more than 50% of total revenue, but a business has the highest revenue and profit among all businesses, and both account for more than 30% of the company's total revenue and profit, the company is categorized in the industry corresponding to the business;
(3) if the company does not have a business that accounts for more than 30% of the company's total revenue and profit, then the panel of experts will further study and analyze the company to determine industry attribution.
