How is Afghanistan doing now?

As of February 2023, Afghanistan is in a good situation with active reconstruction.

Afghanistan's education level is backward, with weak teachers and a lack of basic educational facilities and funding. Schools are divided into two categories, public and private, and public schools provide completely free and compulsory education, with six years of elementary school, six years of secondary school, and four to five years of university, with tuition fees waived. Private schools are more expensive.

Afghanistan's health care facilities are seriously inadequate, with a shortage of medical personnel, and 80 percent of health centers in all regions lack medicines and medical facilities. There are some public hospitals in major cities such as Kabul, but the level of medical equipment and services is poor.

Afghanistan Transportation Facilities:

Afghanistan is a landlocked country, except for a section of the Amu Darya River, the northern border river, there is no river for water transportation. Sea transportation is mainly dependent on the Pakistani port of Karachi and the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas. In addition, India is helping Iran to build the Chabahar port, which, when completed, will become another outlet to the sea in Afghanistan.

International flights, there are three international airports, Kabul, Kandahar and Mazar-e-Sharif. There are 13 airlines*** operating in Afghanistan, of which 10 are foreign companies and 3 are Afghan companies. There are 16 international routes in Afghanistan***.
