The Sports Hospital of the Institute of Sports Medicine is subordinate to the State General Administration of Sports, and its mission is to provide medical protection for athletes of the national team and large-scale domestic and international sports events, and at the same time, actively carry out medical services for the society. The Sports Hospital is a specialized hospital for sports medicine, and Beijing insured persons can directly seek medical treatment at the Sports Hospital and enjoy the national health insurance reimbursement treatment.
At present, the Institute of Sports Medicine Sports Hospital has a total construction area of 8,000 square meters, with outpatient departments on the first and second floors, trauma surgery and orthopedic wards and operating rooms on the third floor, and rehabilitation wards and rehabilitation training rooms on the fourth floor. The entire staff of 171 people, 32 senior titles, enjoy the State Council allowance 5 people; 1 national key laboratory, the General Administration of Sport key laboratory 3.
The hospital has set up 98 beds and is currently equipped with large-scale medical equipments related to the specialty of sports medicine, such as whole-body MRI, limb MRI, CT, X-ray machine, digital operating room, minimally invasive arthroscopy and other surgical equipments, hardware equipments such as three-dimensional gait analysis, isometric muscle strength test, cardiopulmonary and cerebral function test and high-end color ultrasound.
