The difference between nursing secondary quality control and tertiary quality control

1, the content of quality control is different: Nursing secondary quality control is mainly to investigate and analyze the problems occurring in daily care, in order to identify the existing problems, and to take effective measures to improve and optimize with limited resources. Nursing tertiary QC is a comprehensive review and assessment of the entire nursing system, the nursing process, and the quality of care in order to identify problems in the system, find out the root causes of the problems, and develop improvement programs.

2, the scope is different: nursing secondary quality is mainly for a single patient or patient group quality of care, focusing on the patient's safety and comfort, such as the patient's quality of sleep, hygiene and environment, diet and other aspects. Nursing three quality control needs to use the methods and techniques of systems engineering, covering a wide range, need to comprehensively consider the patient, health care personnel, medical equipment and medical environment and other aspects, in order to improve the quality of nursing care and medical service level of the hospital.
