Genealogical Literature:
1. Introduction:
During the Zhou Dynasty, the Lu Clan had genealogical records that were passed down to later generations. Sima Qian, a historian of the Western Han Dynasty, had utilized this information to list the lineage of the Qi state from the founding ancestor, Taigong Lü Shang, to Kang Gong Lü Loan in his work Qi Taigong Shi Jia (齐太公世家).
When Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty was in power, there were six brothers of Lv Dafeng who were descendants of Lv Shang, and five of them were enrolled in the imperial examinations. Lv Dafeng's ancestors for the Ki County people (now Henan Weihui), and then moved to the Beijing Zhaosha Lantian (now Shaanxi Lantian), the official left Guanglu Da Daifu, Song Zhezong when the Shangshu Left Servant and under the door of the Minister, known as the wise prime minister. Later, Lv Dafeng was impeached and deported, died in Xinfeng County, Jiangxi Province, and was buried in Lvcuo Village, Shanghua Town, Haiyang County, Chaozhou, Guangdong Province (now Chenghai, Guangdong Province), Guangdong Lv Clansmen's Association honored Lv Dafeng as the ancestor when they repaired the genealogy of the family.
Taiwan Lv clan associations made genealogy, honored Lv Shang for Lv distant ancestor, often Lv descendants to Weihui worship.
