Social medical insurance card is used to record information related to residents' social security, the card identifies the cardholder's personal employment status, and records the cardholder's social insurance account information and contributions, occupational skills, occupational diseases and disabilities. Social security card generally refers to the People's Republic of China*** and the State Social Security Card. The Chinese People's *** and State Social Security Card is an integrated circuit (IC) card issued by each local human resources and social security department for the society and used in various business areas of human resources and social security.
The functions of the social security card are as follows:
1. Cardholders can use the card to seek medical treatment and settle their medical insurance personal accounts;
2. They can use the card to handle pension insurance affairs;
3. They can use the card to go to the relevant departments to apply for registration of job-seeking and registration of unemployment, to apply for unemployment insurance benefits, and to apply for employment training;
4. With the card, you can apply for labor capacity appraisal and apply for work injury insurance benefits.
The social security card is also a key in the hands of workers to open the door to contact with the system, with which cardholders can check information on the Internet, and in the future, they can also handle labor and social security affairs on the Internet.
Social security card face and card are recorded in the card holder's name, gender, civil status number and other basic information, the card identifies the card holder's personal status (employment, unemployment, retirement, etc.).
Article 6 of the Measures for the Administration of Social Security Cards of the People's Republic of China*** and the State of China (hereinafter referred to as the card-issuing region) shall establish standardized human resources and social security business processes, with strong integrated coordination among the various businesses, and be able to ensure the effective application of social security cards. At the same time, the following technical conditions shall also be available:
(1) Establishment of business management systems, databases and information networks suitable for the use of the card that provide back-end support for the application of the social security card;
(2) Availability of technical force to support the management and application of the social security card, including personnel, equipment, etc., and the ability to rapidly complete the layout of the system for the application of the social security card;
(3) Establishment of standardized and feasible implementation plans;
( (C) develop standardized and feasible implementation plans, including application design plans, cost solutions, information collection plans and specific issuance plans;
(D) establish a scientific and perfect social security card issuance and management system and clear internal control procedures, and formulate plans to deal with emergencies;
(E) other conditions stipulated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
