On February 12, BMW (China) Automotive Trading Co. and BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. announced a further donation of 25 million yuan to fight the new coronavirus pneumonia outbreak.
BMW said the donation will be made to the China Population Welfare Foundation through the Health Angels - Health Volunteer Action, which will be used to purchase medical equipment currently needed by hospitals in Wuhan and other cities and states in Hubei Province, as well as to fund the opening of the first nationwide psychological counseling hotline, which will be dedicated to serving the brave medical personnel fighting on the front lines of the nation's fight against the epidemic.
