What is the tax rate of special invoice

The tax rate for issuing special VAT invoices is related to the time of occurrence of the tax obligation. If the tax obligation occurs before May 1, the tax rate of 17% and 11% will be applied;

If the tax obligation occurs after May 1, the tax rate of 16% and 10% will be applied.

The tax liability rate refers to the ratio of the VAT payable by the VAT obligor for the current period to the taxable sales revenue for the current period. For small taxpayers, the tax burden rate is the levy rate: 3%, while for general taxpayers, the tax burden rate is not 17% or 13%, but much lower than that, due to the possibility of deducting input tax credits. Normally, the VAT payable for the current period is equal to the cumulative amount of "transfer of unpaid VAT" in the VAT payable ledger + the cumulative amount of "export credit against tax payable on domestic products".

There are two kinds of VAT invoices personally, but they are not distinguished by tax rate, they are distinguished by format. That is, the appearance is different. Ordinary enterprises can use the VAT invoice nationally unified, the tax rate is distinguished by commodity, different commodities tax rate is not the same, but all open in a format ticket. There is another kind of VAT invoice for imported goods issued by the customs, (strictly speaking it seems that it should not be counted because only the customs can issue it), and the tax rate is also changed according to the commodities. Regardless of the type of VAT invoice, the most common are 13% and 17%.
