The regulations on carry-on baggage are as follows:
1. Domestic flights: 2 pieces in first class, each piece not exceeding 5 kg; 1 piece in business class, Pearl Economy Class, Economy Class, each piece not exceeding 5 kg.
2. International or regional flights:
2 pieces in first class, not exceeding 5 kg each; 1 piece in business class, Pearl Economy Class, Economy Class, not exceeding 5 kg each.
3. The length, width and height of the baggage combined is less than 115cm (45in).
Carry-on items exceeding the above weight, piece or volume limitations should be checked in as checked baggage, and should be handled in advance at the check-in counters and self-service baggage check-in facilities. China Southern Airlines may conduct baggage inspection at check-in, security check, boarding gates and passenger cabins, and the portion of the baggage exceeding the free baggage allowance will be charged at the overweight baggage rate.
