1953 to 1954: early diagnosis of the first case of "epidemic brain" and "B brain" disease in the county.
1953: the first successful appendectomy, while the establishment of the "Surgical Unit", since the beginning of a new era in the history of surgical operations in our hospital. In the early 1960s, began to do gastric subtotal and other upper abdominal surgery.
1973: the first case of cranial surgery was successful, from the early 1980s, gradually carried out a series of thoracic surgery, urology and other difficult operations.
1967: the first time to use "mannitol" to rescue the violent "rheumatoid brain" was successful.
1990: the hospital was honored as a "second-class hospital".
December 1994: the hospital was upgraded to the "second class A hospital" and officially awarded the license.
1991: Comrade Zhou Menghui, a midwife in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, was awarded the National "May Day" Labor Commendation.
1993: Tan Shilin, the supervisor of the pathology department, undertook the research of "gynecological leucorrhoea smear multi-examination rapid staining technology" through the provincial science committee, the provincial health department appraisal.
Since 1994, it has won the first prize of municipal scientific and technological progress, the first prize of provincial scientific and technological progress and promotion, and the scientific and technological innovation prize of the National New Technology and New Products Fair, and has been listed as a key project of the National Science and Technology Commission's "Ninth Five-Year Plan" and the Ministry of Health's "Ten-Year Hundred" scientific research results promotion project. It has also been listed as the key promotion project of the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" of the State Science and Technology Commission and the "Hundred Projects in Ten Years" of the Ministry of Health.
1993: the former hospital director, party branch secretary Comrade Liu Changchun was approved by the State Council as an expert enjoying special government subsidies. September 1996: the provincial review, the hospital was evaluated as the city's first national "baby-friendly hospitals".
December 1999: the hospital was named Zhuzhou City, "model staff home", the following year, by the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions evaluation, was awarded the provincial "model staff home", the city's first medical unit to receive this honor.
