India BIS Certification

I, BIS certification is introduced

BIS certification is the Bureau Of Indian Standards (The Bureau Of Indian Standards) to develop and regulate India's national certification, is the sale of products sold in India for the control of a quality standard as well as the market access system. BIS headquarters is located in New Delhi, India, under the five regional bureaus and 19 sub-bureaus, eight laboratories, eight laboratories and some independent laboratories responsible for the product certification process to take samples for testing. Laboratory, belonging to the eight laboratories and some independent laboratories are responsible for the product certification process to take samples of the test, these laboratories are in accordance with ISO/IEC17025: 1999 implementation.

BIS certification includes product registration and product certification, two types of certification for different products:

1, BIS certification (i.e., BIS-ISI) control products involved in a variety of fields, including steel and building materials, chemicals, medical, home appliances, automotive, food and textiles, and other different areas of the product; certification is not only required to be in the accredited Indian local laboratory testing and comply with the standard requirements, but also need to be subject to BIS audit The certification not only requires testing in a recognized local Indian laboratory and compliance with the standard requirements, but also requires factory inspection by BIS auditors.

2. BIS registration (i.e. BIS-CRS) mainly controls products in the electrical and electronic field, including audio and video products, information technology products, lighting products, batteries and photovoltaic products. Certification needs to be recognized by the Indian laboratory test and meet the standard requirements, and then complete the official website system registration.

Second, the scope of BIS CRS products

From July 2013, BIS provides a wide range of products must be mandatory registration, the product must be recognized by the BIS in India, the local laboratory for the specified standards of testing and registration, and the BIS successfully registered in the product's labeling or the minimum package printed with the prescribed words before entering the Indian market, otherwise the goods will not be able to clear customs. Otherwise the goods will not be cleared.

3. BIS CRS certification process

1. Customers place orders and send samples to the Chinese laboratory;

2. The Chinese laboratory carries out structural inspections of the product and prepares documents related to the certification application;

3. The Chinese laboratory sends the samples to the Indian laboratory;

4, BIS accredited laboratory issues BIS test report of the product;

5. Prepare BIS registration documents, test reports, and at the same time, apply for certificate registration to BIS;

6. BIS approves and issues registration authorization letter;

7. The customer obtains the BIS registration number of the product, and the shipment is made.

Fourth, BIS CRS application need to prepare the information

2, business license (manufacturing plant)

3, brand certificates

4, product nameplates

5, samples with labels

6, key components of the product with labels

p> 7, circuit schematic diagrams, block diagrams, PCB circuit boards

8, English manuals (product use environment, installation, use, precautions, etc.)

9, series of products difference description

10, the list of key components and their certificates (housing materials, power supply, PCB, battery, transformer, recognized parts can have ISI) Labeling/UL certification/CB report)

11, product, adapter and battery CB report (if necessary to provide)

BIS issued by the mark is a product in line with the Indian standards mark, but also in line with the product specification certificate. All BIS certifications implement Indian standards, and those that pass the test and receive a certificate use the common ISI mark.
