(I) Overview
In 2015, the county realized a GDP of 8.665 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8% compared with 2014; fixed asset investment completed 8.741 billion yuan, an increase of 20.04% compared with 2014; the value-added of industries above designated size completed 3.321 billion yuan, an increase of 0.9% compared with 2014; the public **** fiscal revenue completed 27,509 million yuan, down 8.8% compared with 2014; total retail sales of consumer goods completed 2.081 billion yuan, up 7.6% compared with 2014; disposable income per capita of urban residents completed 26,521 yuan, up 9.2% compared with 2014; disposable income per capita of rural residents completed 12,287 yuan, up 8.2% compared with 2013; total grain output reached 209.9 million kilograms, a 2% lower than 2014.
(II) Primary Industry
In 2015, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in Quwo County realized 2.197 billion yuan, an increase of 2.1% over 2014. Among them, the output value of agriculture realized 1.703 billion yuan, an increase of 0.5% over 2014; the output value of forestry realized 0.41 billion yuan, an increase of 23.8% over 2014; the output value of animal husbandry realized 403 million yuan, an increase of 7.2% over 2014; the output value of fishery realized 0.32 billion yuan, an increase of 1.6% over 2014; and the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery service industry realized 0.19 billion yuan, an increase of 9.2% over 2014 9.2% increase from 2014. The internal structure ratio of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery and its service industry was 77.5:1.9:18.3:1.4:0.9.
In 2015, the annual crop planting area was 621,600 mu, a decrease of 1.8% compared with 2014; the total grain output was 209,900 tons, a decrease of 2.0% compared with 2014. Orchard area of 35,500 mu, the same as the previous year; total fruit production of 70,300 tons, an increase of 26.7% over the previous year. Facility greenhouses 5,213, covering an area of 26,600 acres, with an output of 149,200 tons, an increase of 4.5% over 2014, realizing an output value of 672 million yuan, an increase of 6.9% over 2014. The total meat production was 12,651 tons, an increase of 1.1% over 2014. Fishery farming area was 5,355 mu, an increase of 5.9% over 2014, and fishery farming output was 1,852 tons, an increase of 2.6% over 2014. Milk production was 5,197 tons, down 15.4 percent from 2014.
(C) Secondary Industry
There were 23 industrial enterprises above scale in Quwo County in 2015. Among them, Shanxi Zhongtiao Mountain New Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Min Guang Coking Liability Co., Ltd. 2 state-owned and state-controlled enterprises; private enterprises in the Liheng Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Tongcai Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. is now ranked among the top 500 private enterprises in China, China's top 500 private manufacturing industry, and all the employees amounted to 11,153 people. Industrial enterprises above large scale realized total output value of 20.077 billion yuan, down 23.3% from 2014, and completed industrial added value of 3.321 billion yuan, up 0.9% from 2014. In terms of light and heavy industry, light industry completed 0.89 billion yuan; heavy industry completed 3.232 billion yuan, an increase of 1.0% over 2014. According to the main industries, coking industry completed 0.99 billion yuan of added value, down 7.7% compared with 2014; ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry completed 2.957 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8% compared with 2014; cement manufacturing industry completed 0.69 billion yuan, down 41.9% compared with 2014. The output of main products of above-scale industries: 6.007 million tons of crude steel, 8.731 million tons of steel, 4.43 million tons of pig iron, 546,000 tons of coke, 1.248 million tons of cement.
(IV) Tertiary Industry
Total retail sales of consumer goods in Quwo County amounted to RMB 2.081 billion in 2015, an increase of 7.6% over 2014. By place of business, retail sales of consumer goods in towns and cities amounted to RMB 1.398 billion, an increase of 8.5% over 2014; retail sales of consumer goods in villages amounted to RMB 683 million, an increase of 5.7% over 2014. By consumption pattern, retail sales of goods amounted to 1.747 billion yuan, an increase of 6.0% compared with 2014, while the revenue of catering industry amounted to 334 million yuan, an increase of 16.7% compared with 2014. The number of tourists reached 977,300, an increase of 20% over 2014; the comprehensive income from tourism reached 1,111.5 million yuan, an increase of 17% over 2014.
Consumer prices in Quwo County in 2015 rose by 0.9% cumulatively over 2014, with prices of food, tobacco, alcohol and supplies, clothing, household equipment and supplies and services, healthcare and personal goods, entertainment, education and cultural goods and services, and housing rising by 1.2%, 0.4%, 0.5%, 0.3%, 3.5%, 4.7%, respectively, over 2014 and 0.7%, and prices in the transportation and communication category decreased by 2.2% from 2014.
