Founded in March 2021, Desktop Health is a healthcare company dedicated to developing 3D printing solutions for personalized medicine.
The high-precision Einstein Series of 3D printers, designed for dental professionals, includes three different models: the Einstein, designed for general dentists for chairside printing; the Einstein Pro, designed for small dental labs and specialists; and the Einstein Pro XL, designed for high-volume dental labs to provide the largest print range in the series.
The Einstein 3D printers, which are up to 50 percent faster than their predecessors, utilize a powerful combination of technologies to deliver the most "precise fit and natural look with stunning clarity. They include Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, proprietary NanoFit 385 technology, and Hyperprint technology to ensure prints benefit from thermal and closed-loop software upgrades.
The companion resin material is Flexcera Smile Ultra +, a strong dental resin that has been licensed for permanent use by the FDA. It can be used for permanent, printable dental restorations. It is formulated with ceramic strength and long-chain chemistry to ensure ideal performance.
According to Desktop Health, this new resin offers high fracture resistance, up to three times greater than that of select competitive resins; moisture resistance to prevent staining or discoloration, up to two times greater than leading competitive formulas; and overall natural aesthetics to provide a lifelike, tooth-like, translucent, and natural-looking smile that offers the perfect combination of comfort, strength, and flexibility.
