Does the water softener in Shenzhen consume much energy?

The energy consumption of water softener is not much.

Fully automatic discrete valve: Generally, the discrete valve adopts imported fully automatic diaphragm valve or solenoid valve, adopts a structure similar to traditional manual mode, and cooperates with a special fully automatic controller (single chip microcomputer or PLC) to form a water softening device. Fully automatic equipment is mainly used in occasions with large flow, and can also be used for the transformation of traditional manual equipment, which can be transformed into automatic equipment without changing the original equipment pipeline. Thereby reducing the operation labor intensity and equipment consumption.

The main characteristics of the water softener with this structure are: simple and easy to understand, easy to operate and low cost, which can meet the needs of large flow; However, the technology is backward, it occupies a lot of land, the operation consumption is also large, the actual operation intensity is high, the salt pump is heavily corroded and the maintenance cost is high.

Softening water equipment is the most commonly used water treatment equipment, whether it is used for direct drinking water or for pretreatment systems such as medicine and chemical industry. Now the boiler is used for heating in cold winter, and the scale formed by long-term use in the boiler needs to be treated with softened water equipment. In the soft water equipment of electric boiler, it must be strictly implemented in accordance with the standards, and attention should be paid to the selection of installation location of soft water treatment device, industrial soft water equipment, matters needing attention in work and subsequent maintenance.

Water softening device is a device with the function of softening water hardness. Because the hardness of water is mainly formed by calcium and magnesium, cation exchange resin is generally used to replace Ca2+ and Mg2+ (the main components of scale formation) in water. With the increase of Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the resin, the efficiency of removing Ca2+ and Mg2+ by the resin gradually decreases, so it needs to be regenerated. The regeneration process is to wash the resin with brine in a salt tank.

Its working procedures are as follows:

1 water supply: the untreated water passes through the resin layer, and exchange reaction occurs, resulting in soft water.

2. backwashing: water enters from the lower part of the resin layer to loosen the resin and remove fine impurities.

3. Salt water regeneration: high concentration salt water (Nacl) is used to flow through the resin to restore the failed resin to sodium resin.

4. Flushing: according to the process of water supply, water is washed through resin to wash away excess salt solution and regenerated exchanged calcium and magnesium ions.

5. Water injection: water is injected into the salt tank to dissolve the salt for the next regeneration.
