Infrared reception coding for set-top boxes

I studied this in my major.

In my experience, if you're trying to make a universal remote control, it's impossible.

When a button is pressed on a remote control, the remote will send out a string of binary code, which we call a frame of data. This frame of data usually consists of guide code, customer code (can be more than one), data code (can be more than one), check code, end code and so on according to a certain law. In actual use of the binary code transmitted by the remote control code is also different, usually Manchester code and pulse width code, due to this difference and the different combinations of the above frames, the formation of a variety of remote control code format, so there is no universal one said.

Thanks for the correction
