Cultivation Requirements: The students of this specialty mainly study the basic theory and basic knowledge of medical imaging technology, receive training in the basic operating skills of medical imaging technology (conventional radiology, CT, MR, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology), and master the basic theory and operating skills of the technologies and computers within the scope of medical imaging, such as the imaging principle, operation, maintenance, and common failures of the various medical imaging equipment. They will master the basic theory and operation skills of medical imaging equipment, such as the principle of imaging, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of common problems, as well as the application of various image processing software, the rules and regulations of radiation protection, and the ability of literature search, data query and computer application, and be familiar with the knowledge of diagnosis of common diseases, and be able to use various imaging techniques to obtain the high quality images required for diagnosis, and be familiar with the principles of medical ethics related to medical imaging examinations.

Graduates should acquire the following knowledge and abilities:

1. master the basic theories and knowledge of conventional radiology, CT, MR, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology and other basic medical imaging technology;

2. master the relevant examination techniques of medical imaging equipment, and master the routine maintenance of the equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques;
