China's petrochemical centers established in the consumer area are Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Yueyang, Liaoyang and other plants, of which Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical General Corporation is the largest, Shanghai Petrochemical General Factory is the most economically efficient, and those built close to the oilfields are Daqing, Jilin, Qilu, and Tianjin.
