Article X. The poisonous substances should be stored in the warehouse in time after purchase, and should not be stored elsewhere. Before storage, they need to be weighed and registered before storage.

Chapter IV Requisition, Collection and Use of Highly Toxic Substances and Radioactive Sources

Article 20: Remaining drugs, drug packaging and experimental waste should be labeled and returned to the Dangerous Goods Storehouse in a timely manner, and the deposit will be returned after deducting the cost of waste disposal. All units are not allowed to handle waste privately.

Article 22 Once an accident occurs due to improper handling of poisonous substances or radioactive sources, timely measures should be taken according to the plan and the aftermath of the accident should be done seriously, at the same time, the facts should be investigated quickly and the responsibility of the persons concerned should be seriously investigated according to the nature of the accident.

Article 23 The laboratories should strictly control the purchase of toxic substances, where three years after the toxic substances are still not used up, the school will do the disposal, the disposal costs borne by the purchasing unit.

Article 24 The production, use and storage of radioactive sources must be equipped with protective facilities, and alarms or work signals must be set up at the entrances. Radioactive sources must be assigned to a person for safekeeping, and when storing, receiving, using or returning radioactive sources, they must be registered and inspected, so as to make the accounts consistent with the goods.

Article 25 The school shall strictly implement the national regulations on personal measurement monitoring and health management for personnel exposed to drugs and radioactive sources, and conduct regular medical checkups and appropriate health subsidies for the said personnel.

Chapter V Supplementary Provisions

Article 26 These Measures shall be implemented as of the date of issuance. It shall be interpreted by the Research and Equipment Office, the Defense Office, the Academic Affairs Office, and the General Corporation of Logistic Services.
