How to handle the donation of remains and organs?

The donation of remains is made on a voluntary and free basis. You can register at each registration acceptance station first, and then go to the notary office for notarization.

Donation of remains refers to the behavior that the executor of a natural person voluntarily donates all or part of his remains to medical science after his death, and the behavior that his immediate family members donate all or part of his remains to medical science after the death of a natural person who did not express his willingness to donate before his death.

Those who live in this province and donate their remains for free can register directly at the registration station or contact the provincial Red Cross Society, which will introduce them to the nearest registration station for registration.

Those who voluntarily donate their bodies for free need to fill out an application and then go to a nearby notary office for notarization. At the same time, the registration acceptance station shall issue a commemorative certificate of voluntary donation of remains uniformly printed by the provincial Red Cross to the official registrant.

The registration of voluntary donation of remains was not handled before his death, but his immediate family members requested voluntary donation of remains before or after his death. After obtaining the certificate of the deceased's work unit or notary office, you can go to the registration acceptance station to accept the donation of the remains.

Voluntary donors can change or cancel their registration. However, you must first go through the notarization of change or cancellation of registration.

It is understood that the remains of patients with Class A and B infectious diseases stipulated by the state do not belong to the category of voluntary donation of remains.
