Where is the platinum rhodium wire?

Platinum-rhodium wires are usually used in industrial thermocouples. At present, Pt-Rh wire is widely used in thermocouple wires of various thermocouples to measure and control the temperature of some high-temperature fluids, steam and gas media produced in the production process. The upper temperature limit of Pt-Rh wire is relatively high, which can generally cope with the temperature range of about 0~ 1800℃.

Where is the platinum rhodium wire?

At present, platinum and rhodium wires in thermocouple series have high precision, strong stability, wide temperature measuring range and long service life.

Platinum rhodium wire is generally suitable for oxidizing and inert atmosphere, and can also be used in vacuum for a short time. It is usually not suitable for platinum and rhodium wires in reducing atmosphere and steam atmosphere containing metals and nonmetals.
