As one of the countries with the best medical level evaluated by the World Health Organization for a long time, the United States and Japan are in the leading position in proton therapy technology and equipment, and have been attracting many cancer patients from all over the world to the United States or Japan for postoperative treatment.
Of course, China is not backward. In 2004, Zibo Cancer Hospital introduced the first advanced proton therapy equipment. From 2065438 to the beginning of June 2008, a delegation from the global oncologist network came to Zibo Wanjie Proton Therapy Center, the first proton therapy center in China, for investigation and study, and got a comprehensive understanding of the origin and development of the earliest introduction of proton therapy technology in China.
