The full name of TPMS is Tire Pressure Monitoring System, which is the abbreviation of "Tire Pressure Monitoring System". The function of TPMS is to automatically monitor the tire air pressure in real time during driving, and give an alarm for tire air leakage and low air pressure to ensure driving safety.
When the tire pressure decreases, the rolling radius of the wheel will become smaller, resulting in its rotating speed being faster than other wheels. By comparing the speed difference between tires, tire pressure can be monitored.
The indirect tire warning system TPMS actually monitors the air pressure by calculating the tire rolling radius. Direct tire pressure monitoring system TPMS directly uses sensors to replace the valve of the original car. The sensor chip in the sensor is used to sense the slight changes of tire pressure and temperature under static and moving conditions, and convert the electrical signal into a wireless radio frequency signal, which is transmitted to the receiver through an independent channel transmitter, so that the owner can know the tire pressure and temperature of the car body tire regardless of driving or static conditions.
Now the direct tire pressure monitoring system has been basically eliminated, and only a few imported cars produced in 2006 are equipped with indirect tire pressure monitoring systems, such as Magotan and Honor.
