xp-900 multifunctional plastic film continuous sealing machine because of continuous sealing, stable performance, sealing effect and other characteristics of small and medium-sized food processing enterprises. The machine has been used for a long time, especially in the continuous work, overload, easy to appear some electrical and mechanical failures, such as: sealing is not firm, the machine stops and starts, the fuse fuse at the beginning of the start, the operation of the "squeak", the temperature can not be controlled, the sealing of the finished bag deformation and bending, the sealing knife embossing appeared in the bubbles or irregular traces of the pattern, and so on. This paper combines the actual use of experience, for which several kinds of faults, analyze its cause, put forward the corresponding solution, and elaborates on the continuous sealing machine maintenance problems, I hope to use the continuous sealing machine enterprises and individuals to help.

1. sealing is not firm

Sealing is not firm continuous sealing machine is one of the common failures, sealing is not firm there are three meanings: ① bag sealing can not be sealed on the seal; ② in the sealing knife under the action of the pressure, the bag is sealed on the seal, but a little hard squeeze or tearing peeling, sealing will be open again; ③ sealing peeling test, half of the sealing firm, half of the separation of the phenomenon, the sealing quality of the bag is still unqualified, because of the sealing quality, because of the sealing machine is not a good choice, because of the sealing machine is not a good idea, but it is a very important thing. Seal quality is still unqualified, because the contents of the storage and transportation process by extrusion is easy to leak. This situation in the composite lining for OPP, blow molding PE often occurs.

The main reasons for the first failure are as follows.

(1) the heat sealing temperature is not enough

Usually, OPP as the lining of the composite bag, when the total thickness of the bag for the 80 ~ 90μm, the heat sealing temperature to reach 170 ~ 180 ℃; PE as the lining of the composite bag bag for the bag for the total thickness of 85 ~ 100μm, the temperature is appropriate to control the temperature at 180 ~ 200 ℃. As long as the total thickness of the bag increased, the heat sealing temperature must be increased accordingly.

(2) heat sealing speed is too fast

Sealing the mouth is also related to the speed of the sealing machine. If the speed is too fast, the seal has not yet had time to thermalization by the traction rollers to the cold pressure for cooling, naturally do not meet the heat sealing quality requirements.

(3) cold pressure rubber wheel pressure is not appropriate

cold pressure rubber wheel up and down each one, the pressure between them to be moderate, adjust the pressure only need to clamp the spring can be.

(4) Problems with the quality of the heat sealing film

Sealing can not be sealed with the quality of the heat sealing film, if the composite lining corona treatment is not uniform, the effect is not good, and just happen to appear in the sealing, certainly can not be sealed. This situation is rare, however, once appeared, the product is bound to scrap. So in the color printing and packaging industry, is the next process to supervise the previous process, a found quality problems, must promptly analyze the causes and solve them.

If the seal has moisture, dirty, will also cause the seal is not secure.

In short, to solve the first sealing problem, generally can be appropriate to increase the heat sealing temperature, and then reduce the heat sealing speed, while increasing the pressure of the cold pressure rubber wheel.

The main reasons for the second sealing failure are as follows.

(1) The heat sealing temperature is not enough

Just increase the heat sealing temperature appropriately to solve the problem.

(2) The knife surface of the heat sealing knife is not flat enough

The heat sealing knife is divided into two pieces, usually thermocouple is installed in which is used to sense the transfer of temperature. Heat sealing knife has three screws, the middle of the screw to support and reinforce the role of the blade, the other two screws are equipped with pressure springs and shims, mainly used to regulate the pressure of the heat sealing knife, the upper and lower blades have two springs. The main reason for the uneven surface of the heat sealing knife is that the middle screw is installed skewed, not horizontal; or the pressure of the pressure spring on the heat sealing knife is uneven. The solution is to re-calibrate the position of the center screw so that it is in a horizontal state. If the upper and lower heat sealing knives are not balanced, it should be realized by adjusting the pressure spring to moderate. When letting the spring back outward, the heat sealing knife will fall downward; when applying the spring of the lower blade upward tightly, the heat sealing knife will move upward.

(3) uneven pressure of the cold pressure wheel

Uneven pressure of the cold pressure wheel will also cause this kind of sealing failure, the solution is similar to the first case.

There are two main reasons for the third sealing failure.

(1) Uneven pressure on the heat sealing knife or uneven pressure on the cold pressing knife

The adjustment on the heat sealing knife and the cold pressing knife is exactly the same.

(2) The knife surface of the heat sealing knife is not flat enough

2. Blown fuse

The main motor of DBF-900 multi-functional plastic film continuous sealing machine's main function is to drive the gearbox and gear transmission of various parts. Sometimes when the sealing machine is started, it will make a "squeak" sound, and cannot operate normally, and even the phenomenon of fuse blowing on the fire wire occurs.

Troubleshooting the fault should first check whether the power supply is normal, and then cut off the power supply, with a resistance file to measure whether the switch is damaged, in addition, should also carefully check the line and the motor is short-circuited. Usually when the motor is short-circuited, the winding is burned or disconnected, the fuse will blow once the sealing machine is started. Another reason for this failure is that the fuse specification is too small, accordingly increase its specification, it can solve the problem.

3. Operation of the "squeak" sound

The fault occurs in the sealing machine operation process, "squeak" sound often occurs suddenly, followed by uneven sealing speed, resulting in the sealing of bags embossed on the texture is not good, affecting the appearance of the product quality. In the meantime, it can occasionally work normally, but it is capricious.

Most of this phenomenon is due to mechanical damage or severe wear and tear, as well as poor lubrication.

This phenomenon occurred some time ago when the XP-900 multifunctional plastic film continuous sealing machine used in our factory was sealing. We first followed the sound emitted to find the fault parts. The back of the protective plate apart, found that the "squeak" sound is transmitted by the gearbox, one by one will be fixed screws removed, found that the gearbox grease has dried solid, gear bright clank, which indicates that the cause of the failure is the lack of oil. Will be the same type of oil and grease mixed into the gearbox, and tighten the screws to restore the boot "squeak" sound disappeared, sealing normal.

In addition, if the joints of the high-temperature belt is loose, serious wear and tear, and not clean, surface dirt, the operation process is not synchronized with the traction wheel, and sometimes also issued a "squeak" sound. The solution is to replace the high temperature belt with the same specification.

Replacement of high-temperature belt certain skills. First of all, the pressure wheel spring compression by hand, and then the high temperature belt placed on one end of the rubber wheel, the other end is held by hand against another rubber wheel, the governor is set to low speed, a start, by the inertia of the movement, the high temperature belt is automatically loaded up.

Sometimes the "squeak" sound is also issued by the DC parallel excitation motor. May be the motor bearing lack of oil produced. If this is the case, it should be removed and oil lubrication, the sound can be eliminated.

4. sealing temperature out of control

The failure of the temperature meter display failure, can not control the temperature, the heat sealing temperature is not constant, the seal is either burnt, or sealing is not secure, sealing deformation, it is very difficult to see.

The main reason for this failure is that the thermometer is bad, must be repaired; in addition, the thermocouple may also be bad, can not normally sense the temperature to the thermometer. Replace the same type, the same specifications of the thermocouple can be.

Mechanical reasons are uneven heat sealing pressure, as long as the adjustment of the heat sealing knife pressure spring, so that the pressure can be consistent. At the same time, the pressure contact surface of the heat sealing knife should be kept clean and free of dirt.

Another reason is that the heat sealing quality of the composite material itself is not good, and the heat sealing coefficient changes, resulting in inconsistent temperatures endured.

5. sealing machine stop and go

We have encountered in the production of sealing machine stop and go, speed inconsistent failure, the sealing machine back panel removed, found that the motor shaft connection and gearbox connection has been peeled off, slack phenomenon. Re-tighten the screws to make it all match, and the problem is solved. In addition, the main motor is relying on the carbon brush contact and operation, if the carbon brush is seriously worn, and the slip ring incomplete contact, or friction is not good, the same will cause the sealing machine stop and go, replace the same type of new carbon brush can solve the problem.

6. Sealing bubbles and irregular traces

This failure is also more common, although it does not cause packaging leakage, but affects the aesthetics of the packaging, destroying the image of the goods.

The causes of this failure are mainly the following two points.

(1) equipment used for a long time, high-temperature belt attached to the dust and plastic shavings and other dirt, resulting in high-temperature belt is not smooth, uneven, so that the sealing of the uneven heat, by the cold pressurized wheel pressure after the emergence of bubbles. Cleaning or replacing the high-temperature belt can solve the problem. High-temperature tape is generally 1.5cm wide, about 22μm thick, if you stick on the dirt really can not wash off, you have to scrap.

(2) Cold compression of the rubber wheel on the irregular arrangement of the uneven traces, directly reflected in the packaging, so that the sealing of more obvious marks. In order to ensure that the bag molding beautiful, it is best to replace the cold press rubber wheel.

7. Problems to be noted in the maintenance of equipment

(1) The sealing machine should be placed in a ventilated, dry place, the general room temperature can be maintained at about 25 ℃.

(2) Every 48 hours of operation, the moving parts should be filled with 6# oil, mainly in gears, bearings and gearbox.

(3) Dust should be removed regularly to keep the whole machine clean. When not in use, it is best to unplug the power supply and cover it with a cover cloth.

(4) If the running time is too long, the cooling fan should be turned on before shutting down the machine, and the machine should be shut down after the temperature drops, because shutting down the machine without cooling, the high-temperature belt is easily damaged.

(5) The high temperature belt should be decontaminated regularly to ensure the sealing quality.

(6) Serious wear parts should be replaced in time to extend the life of the machine.
