Ford will cooperate with many parties to produce the shortage of medical supplies to actively combat the epidemic

It is reported that Ford will produce disposable medical N95 masks through 3D printing technology, and plans to produce more than 100,000 protective masks per week.

Additionally, Ford and 3M*** are working together to develop an electrically powered air-purifying respiratory protection mask, which features a small fan derived from the seat ventilation component of the Ford F-150, and a HEPA air cartridge developed by 3M to filter out contaminants such as viral droplets and provide up to eight hours of power. And Ford plants will soon begin production of medical ventilators in partnership with GE Healthcare for patients with respiratory distress and failure.

" It is reported that the first 1,000 protective masks have been produced for testing, and it is expected that 75,000 masks will be completed this week. Production of N95 masks for healthcare workers will begin at a rate of 1,000 per month once they have been approved by the relevant authorities, with production set to rise rapidly in the future.
