Pharmaceutical agents for hospital wastewater treatment equipment

Based on the different uses of pharmaceuticals, can be divided into the following categories:

(1) flocculants: sometimes also known as coagulants, can be used as a means to strengthen the solid-liquid separation of the primary sedimentation tank, the second sedimentation tank, flotation tanks and the tertiary treatment or depth of treatment and other process links.

(2) coagulant: auxiliary flocculant to play a role in strengthening the coagulation effect.

(3)Conditioning agent: also known as dewatering agent, used for the conditioning of the remaining sludge before dewatering, and its varieties include some of the above flocculants and coagulants.

(4) Breaking agent: sometimes also called destabilizer, mainly used for the pretreatment of oil-containing wastewater containing emulsified oil before air flotation, and its varieties include some of the above flocculants and coagulants.

(5) defoamer: mainly used to eliminate a large number of bubbles in the process of aeration or mixing.

(6) pH adjusting agent: it is used to adjust the pH of acidic wastewater and alkaline wastewater to neutral.

(7)Oxidizing and reducing agent: used in the treatment of industrial wastewater containing oxidizing or reducing substances.

(8) Disinfectant: used for disinfection treatment before discharge or reuse after wastewater treatment.
